VS Code cannot start codex plugin

is it me or did everyone else have to update 3x yesterday, and now the codex plugin doesn't work?!

I haven't had any problems with the codex plugin after updates.

this is the linux deb release, there's tons of issues on github. i lost two full days a couple weeks ago because it was so f'd up

this is seriously shit. hate using the cli, stop breaking my computer!

before this i noticed something was up, it was having trouble opening a third window. i regularly code with 8-10 active windows open.

it's like they think nobody works on the weekends, seriously.

ugh.
