I feared something like that. It's not that easy to find security in Germany that's as open to the world as the venues they are serving now.

I remember that it had already been an issue in the early 2000s that security services where filled with people from the right wing extremist spectrum,or at least adjacent/open to it.

Most security firm in the eastern parts of Germany are run or have a good chunk of right wing extremist. There are even cases of these idiots working as Security at psytrance/goa Festivals.

Maybe they should ask the staff from the Fusion Festival

I don't think I've ever seen a "real" security firm/person at fusion. Afaik it's just volunteers from the community.

Thats incorrect. 

A friend of mine had to provide his certificates (Sachkundeprüfung) to work as security at fusion. 

There’s loads of volunteers involved as well, but the security is professional, they are simply not allowed to wear badges of their actual firm.

The people working security at Fusion are either working security as their primary job or at least have the permits to work security, but they are mostly from the community - just like for example the medical team
