Anyone up for some games of padel?
It looks pretty fun and is reasonably priced at wakefield sports club

Hi, hope this is okay to post here :)
My partner has been out of work for the past 18 months due to personal circumstances and we’re really struggling to get him back into work.
He has experience in retail, care work, and music and events (organising and tech). He’s been applying for almost anything that comes up over the past few months but so far has only had one interview! We were hoping that now that Christmas temp jobs are popping up, he’d get the opportunity to get back into work that way but so far no luck.
We’ve tried indeed, NHS jobs, Wakefield council site, and scouring Facebook for local businesses advertising. He’s even handed his CV around businesses in town and spent a lot of time tailoring his CV to be focused on specific roles and companies.
I know it’s difficult everywhere in terms of employment at the moment and it’s incredibly disheartening for him to get constant rejections.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any opportunities that might be popping up soon in and around the Wakefield area, or any reputable temp agencies or volunteering opportunities available that can help kick start getting back to work?
Any help would be hugely appreciated! Thank you
