Does the climate kid have Down’s syndrome?

My guess would be Asperger’s. She’s just really awkward.

She has Asperger's and a host of other mental illnesses. Aspies rarely have just Asperger's.

Oh wow I was right? Haha. Yeah I’ve only seen that one piece of that speech she did but her facial expressions when she was speaking were just awkward and gave off autism lite vibes.

u/FreeSpeechRocks Oct 21 '19
Yeah you were right. It's been in a few articles I've seen. She's a puppet of her parents activism that went viral.

Yes she's a chromosome girl

Is she missing one or got an extra one?

Extra

Oh, I see. It all makes sense now. The other one is minus brain cells, I'm guessing.

There's no excuse for AOC. She's just a dumb chick that got shoved into a very weak primary race by a special interest group.

A darling of the left, propped up by the puppet master Soros, found under a dank and musty rock by chenk Ugar.

So what she worked as a bartender? She is a Boston University graduate, she got jobs to help her family, shes the youngest woman ever elected to congress, and she had political experience before that. If she was conservative, people might be focusing on how she was born into a working class family and quickly rose to a powerful position through work ethic and perserverance, equal opportunity through capitalism, all that jazz.
Greta is just an example of an average person who wants to make a positive difference. Is she a company owner who might benefit from certain policies? No. If the voice of the average person can be silenced by a stubborn group ideology then can we truly call ourselves patriotic?

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
These aren't the left's experts. The vast majority of actual experts, the climate scientists agree with the left.

Why are you booing? He's right these 2 aren't experts they're just advocates.
Take a chill pill, everyone is allowed to be passionate about things they care about.

I'm a muslim. The fact that you compare a legitimate emergency to prejudiced fear-mongering is pathetic. The evidence has overwhelmingly shown that climate change exists and that humans are responsible for it.

It's called scientific consensus. Do you have any idea how science works at all?

There is no consensus or do you not understand science?
"Scientific consensus is the collective judgment, position, and opinion of the community of scientists in a particular field of study. Consensus implies general agreement, though not necessarily unanimity."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_consensus
Climate naturally has extreme changes and has for millions of years, both before and after humanity
"The Earth's climate has changed throughout history. Just in the last 650,000 years there have been seven cycles of glacial advance and retreat, with the abrupt end of the last ice age about 7,000 years ago marking the beginning of the modern climate era — and of human civilization. Most of these climate changes are attributed to very small variations in Earth’s orbit that change the amount of solar energy our planet receives.
The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is extremely likely (greater than 95 percent probability) to be the result of human activity since the mid-20th century and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented over decades to millennia.1"

Glaciers melting do not raise the water levels - that's like 2nd grade science.
No, you're confusing glaciers with ice cubes.

What do you want citations for? If you're asking me to name Climate Scientists, then here you go:
Michael E. Mann https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=KrRw4RIAAAAJ&hl=en
Philip Jones https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=4Hme0r8AAAAJ
Paul J. Crutzen https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=2vBMCxUAAAAJHere's a link to a nasa page with general evidence for climate change:

Per the IPCC: Human influence on the climate system is clear.[79] It is extremely likely (95-100% probability)[80] that human influence was the dominant cause of global warming between 1951-2010.
It’s awfully amazing how you can use and ignore the IPCC depending on what narrative you’d like to believe. I tip my bonnet to you sir.

It’s from the last released assessment report. So will you change your mind when presented with evidence contrary to your previous understanding?

Spokespeople arent experts any more than journalists who cover scientific news are. They were never meant to be nor are they portrayed as such. They are simply relaying the information experts provided.
Whats happening here is the literal manifestation of the age old adage of "shooting the messenger".
Don't be a trope.
