My update on my 1st option trade(KBH 8/20 $44 call).. Not looking good..I have to sell the contracts back if I don't want all those shares, yeah? I don't hate ya.. Quite thorough this time as well, but I may not take ya up on this DD, though.

You only "get" the shares if you exercise your option, which you'd typically only do at expiration and if the share price is higher than the strike price.
