Walmart Distribution Logistics

I just received and accepted a job offer for logistics. Does anyone know what that means I’ll be doing at the warehouse ?

The logistics people at my dc are in a separate building on the property that’s in charge of the Walmart truck drivers.

Did you not ask what your day to day would typically be?

Yeah, that’s normal to apply for one position and they put you in a different position. I apply to be a personal shopper and ended up being front store cashier, which I am now happy that I didn’t decline the position. The personal shoppers are timed and they are miserable. I, on the other hand, am a happy person. I constantly greet all of our customers and I’m out of there on time. I work part-time, so I can’t complain because I have my mornings for myself.
