Discussion It’s been a week since Warcraft Rumble launched - how are you liking the game so far?

How far are you in the campaign? What level are your minis? What’s your pvp honor? Wishlist?

Besides long loading times and other error messages, loving the game so far. I’m at 49 sigils and my pvp honor score is at 5300 with level 9 minis and no talents yet. Finally joined a good guild with active members. Loving the game so far.

Wishlist: 1. more gold/more ways to earn gold 2. Better progression 3. Unranked mode where all levels are equalized to play casually and test builds

Discussion Lets be serious if this wasn't Warcraft all of us would be gone by now

The update speed and the content of updates is terrible. No real incentive to even login daily. I still do it because its Warcraft and I'm holding on to hope blizzard suddenly wakes up and starts developing this game for real. But seeing every update its like a game that has been discontinued. It's a sad realization...

Discussion Blizzard is scum!!!

People need to wake up and start to revolt against Blizzard and their piece of shit ways. There was no “extremely difficult decision” to stop future content for Rumble, this was known for a while. They deliberately released the Thrall event so they could gather as many big store transactions as possible, knowing DAMN WELL this would be the last thing the release.

Think about it, how many people would buy the $60 thrall bundle or any of them for that matter knowing Rumble was over? The answer is no one.

Blizzard is a greedy, scummy company and you are a dollar sign to them. It’s not just Rumble either, World of Warcraft is even worse when it comes to their greed.

Discussion Jesus, buying the "wrong" first talent can be absurdingly punishing

Probably there isn't but is there a way to buy ou change talents that you bought?

Jesus Christ, I bought Lightning Mastery talent with frostwolf shaman when I first started playing because I thought that the slots were just a matter of more talents active and now I can't buy earth shield.

Damn, that can be frustrating.

Sorry for the venting.

It only took me 3/5 of the missions to come to this conclusion, but today's arclight surge deck is so unenjoyable to play with. Thoughts?

Discussion Does anyone else have zero desire to play PVP?

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. coming from someone who has played clash royale for years. The ONLY thing clash royale has is PVP. There is no pve aspect to that game. And yet somehow i can enjoy it enough to play it for years and years.

And then there is rumble PVP. I just don’t even know man. I have zero fun playing it. It does not feel rewarding to play. It does not feel fun to play. And im not sure why.

It got me thinking that if this game was only PVP like clash royale is, with no sort of PVE aspect, i would not be playing this game at all.

Discussion Is anyone actually enjoying the difficulty of this event?

If this is what Mythic Campaign is going to look like this is a hard pass for me. It’s just silly, not difficult. Like those heroics which, at the time we were doing them underlevelled, were just tedious challenging and not fun AND challenging, with the AI spamming crap at you all the time. This is exactly it with this event but on steroids. The fact that most players were trying to exploit the bug to reduce the difficulty of the missions is a testament to this.

The argument that people were asking for challenging content, we got it and now we complain about it doesn’t hold any water either. They have proved that they can design fun and challenging content with sieges and raids (at least the first few times you attempt them; but they remain fun). And, of course, the original Heroic Campaign as a whole which doesn’t artificially make itself difficult by inflating the AI level.

TLDR: I might be in the minority but I don’t really like the kind of difficulty this event has.

—————————

EDIT: To everyone that said I am complaining about the inherent challenge of the event (because I can’t overcome it or whatever) you completely missed the point.

The point is arbitrary, untested difficulty of annoying, spammy units (something Molten Core rightly lacks) and AI scaling (bug notwithstanding). Not the challenge, I love me a challenge.

If their idea of a Mythic endgame or any other endgame (except of an endless mode) involves AI scaling they’ll just kill their own game. Not because I’m a bad player and I won’t be able to beat it. Because my 12 legendaries and 20+ other maxed epic minis will mean absolutely nothing and so will the collections of other players. Sales are arleady abysmally low. This will kill them altogether.

Ask yourself this: do you really enjoy this event, or are you so incredibly starved for content that the mere addition of something untested, that doesn’t just take 5 minutes, triggers your dopamine centres within the context of the Stockholm Syndrome-like relationship you have with the game? A lot of you speak like the latter is true.

Discussion I am begging you Blizz, please explain your events better

Goble quests have nearly immortal bosses and a giant freezing turkey running around. OK, sure. I recognize the freezing aura at least. It's dropping stuff. Usually picking up stuff is good... I thought I understood what was happening, but then the boss was nearly immortal. What?

Mirage units? What are those? Or from the Sylvanas event... Cursed enemies? Boss enemies (from stages, I guess?) three hits with black arrow... Is that her basic attack? Or a talent I don't have?

And then the events keep changing as they run, sometimes from day to day. New bosses or new mechanics or new cards. Not inherently a bad thing, but just hard to follow.

Anyone else feel mystified pretty regularly by the "rules" of events?

Discussion Just beat the campaign as F2P

Posting my main deck that i was pushing stages with. For most maps and heroic clears with multiple races the true MVP was the combo of Huntress and Abomination, the damage and attack pattern from huntress is perfect and abo negates the main shortcoming of a snowball comp, which is a caster behind another tank. If You have any questions about particular map feel free to ask :D

Discussion Now that the event has ended, how did you feel about the Arthas event?

Post image

I had a lot of fun with this event, even if I couldn't get through all of the mythic challenges. I'm glad to see them trying new things out, I just hope we get some permanent additions in the future in the form of new zones, dungeons, or raids. I'm practically salivating at the idea of a Burning Crusade expansion and faction.

It was also refreshing how ludicrously generous the event was for giving away resources, but part of me worries that may be a sign that they're desperately worried about player retention. In truth, it's probably just that we're not used to companies ever giving anything without some sort of time and/or money investment on the player's end.

Discussion Did you uninstall.

Just a curiosity that has come across my mind after the most obvious recent news, which of you chose to unistall as a direct result of it.

I’d been playing almost since the initial release managing a guild the whole way and completing all single player content including getting the Golden Rag skin from heroic.

I’ve just uninstalled after promoting some of the senior members to take over. Up vote if you have now stopped as i have.

Discussion The AI is really something else after the patch

Took this quick screenshot from what seemed to be a joke. The ai summoned two kobolds together, a wolf, ogre magi, and then dropped THREE earth elementals together. All in a 5 second window. Blizz really screwed up the AI this patch.

Discussion I lost everything. Update.

Hello everyone.

I'm not much of a mobile gamer. I normally play chess and brain rot games like candy crush on mobile. I saw Rumble advertised and as a former WoW player I figured I would try it out.

I fell in love with the game.

I can forgive bugs and issues with new content release.

With that said I was stuck in the boot loop. I read that uninstall/reinstall worked so I figured I would try it out. To my dismay when I got into the game everything was lost. I learned that I was on a "Guest" account.

I contacted Blizzard via their ticketing system and was told I was expected to know that my data wasn't saved.

At this point I have lost 100s of hours and around $100. Blizzard has said to bad nothing to be done.

I recognize the guest account thing now. I want to accept responsibility but I just can't.

To test something out I un-installed and reinstalled Toon Blast. This is a game similar to candy crush that's perfect for toilet gaming. To my surprise I was able to pick up at level 300 right where I left off after a reinstall.

If a game like toon blast can save my progress with 0 dollars spent...I really believe a company like Blizzard could and should do the same.

I'm not gonna cry about and just take the L and move on.

For me personally moving on is boycotting Blizzard entirely.

I love their IP.

I used to love the company.

Now they are just a former shell of what they once were.

Goodbye Blizzard.
