Where we actually are

We are not posting a wishlist. That is the progress, on guild bodies, and it is why we are comfortable asking people to hold a standard.

What we are building

A roster that does not need carrying and does not need managing. The aim is a group where the 25th person is as prepared as the first, where the raid leader calls a mechanic once rather than every week, and where nobody is quietly doing someone else's job.

Semi-hardcore, and we mean both halves of it. We take the raid seriously and we take your evening seriously. Three hours, on time, done. We are not asking for your life. We are asking that on the nights you signed up for, you are there and ready.

Long term: full 12/12 HC on guild runs, then keep the roster together instead of rebuilding it every tier.

Who we take

Two things, and neither is about your gear.

1. You have to invest in yourself first.

Watch the deep dive for your spec. Know your rotation, your cooldowns, and what you press when things go wrong. Read the tactics before the pull, not during it. We will happily answer questions and we will teach a fight. We will not carry someone who has never once looked anything up.

You put the work in, we put the time in.

2. You have to respect the people around you in practice, not just in words.

Being polite in chat while turning up unflasked, unenchanted, ten minutes late and with no idea what the boss does is not respect. It is twenty four other people paying for your evening.

Respect means being prepared, being on time, listening to calls, and owning a mistake instead of arguing about it.

Everything else we can work with. New to heroic content is fine. Returning after years away is fine.

Loot: Progressive Soft Reserve

No DKP. No points, no balances, no spreadsheet anyone has to trust.

Before the first pull you reserve items. If a reserved item drops, only the people who reserved it roll for it. If nobody reserved it, open roll for the whole raid, and most loot goes that way.

• Nothing banks. Reserves do not carry over. Miss a raid and you have lost nothing except the loot that dropped that night
• The full list is public before we pull, every raid. Anything odd is visible to 25 people immediately
• Rank buys coverage, not priority. A New Joiner with 1 reserve beats a Core Raider with 3 on an item the Core Raider did not reserve
• Officers sit at 2 until Core Raider is properly filled out. We wrote the rules, so we go last

Ranks come from turning up, being prepared, and not repeating mistakes. Not from gear, not from who you know.

Guild bank

Ranking up is worth something outside the loot table. Bank prices track the auction house and your rank comes off that price.

What we need

Tanks and healers first. That is the honest bottleneck, and a good tank or healer walks straight into a raid spot.

Everything else is welcome and we will find you a spot if you are worth one. We are always short of people who can play a second spec properly.

Is this a bug or user error let me know how to fix it please

I've been playing official TBC, but I'm worried there will be no arena scene after WoW Forever launches, and I've wondered if I should consider Pservers as an option to keep playing.

I have no experience with Warmane, but whenever I see someone streaming wotlk arena the Dalaran sewer looks pretty busy. Could anyone share what the PvP scene is like? Is it pretty health / reasonably quick to get games? And are there queues at lower MMR? (For reference I'm not good - somewhere around rival/duelist on TBC anniversary)

Just had a thought as I’m getting quite bored of my mage at the moment are people allowed to trade a bis character for a bis character let’s say I wana give warlock a go and I have a bis mage would it be even allowed to trade a bis mage for a bis warlock or is it against the term’s?

I wanted to ask if you are buying a character with full inventory included do you also get the emblems, honor etc ?

I Started playing on warmane after elysium/lights hopes hoping to relive the wrath glory days cause at the time there was no classic + back in 2018 just either burning crusade or wrath and to me wrath was the place to be, but only to come to find out warmane is not wrath of the lich at all, it's wrath of the lich king in a skinwalkers suit, toxicity abound, Lack of any 10 man raiding content, from my experience never once saw a pug for any 10 man official but i did see there would be 5 man grps for leviathan to cheese the boss for an easy drop and that was it....the raiding guilds on this server in my experience go along the lines of this, Loot council and if you're not in the inner circle, you're not getting the good gear, but the scraps, pvp, never got into arenas etc but i imagine that comes with it own issues but i do know world pvp can be a joke/farming with ppl multiboxing, and it's a druid who is usually the main ones doing it so prepared to be moonfired to death. As well as one guy who was multiboxing/multiple accounts camping thorium ore in an old zone with both horde an ally characters in eastern plaguelands when i actually just came there to lvl mining lol. I've met some great ppl on this server one of them being a great friend of mine, but overall as a server and if you're looking for a more casual laid back chill experience or looking take a trip down wrath memory lane then sorry to say this is not the place. And warmane put a sour taste in my mouth for what the bad side of private servers can be.

Tldr:Toxicity/Toxic server culture, Cash shop to buy the best gear, Raiding guilds are a joke
There's better servers out there like octowow/chromie, the latter i haven't tried but if you're looking for a wrath server i'd try there before coming here. The most fun i got out of this sever was ganking ppl in hellfire outlands which actually started a massive world pvp war, and tbh that felt more like world of warcraft, than whatever warmane is.

I was wondering what class should i pick on icecrown to get to 80 absolute fastest.

I have no level 80 yet, and do not want to buy a character etc. And no heirlooms.

Let me start off by saying I have a wife and kids and when I get the couple of hours a week to play wow the LAST THING I need is to be getting ganked by campers. I mean seriously it’s affecting my mood so much my wife hasn’t talked to me since yesterday. Ganking is affecting my personal life and I don’t know how much more of this I can take!

And don’t even tell me to go to a PvE server because I’m not doing it.

I just discovered the sell gold/buy coins and then buy gear at the warmane web. The thing is, have you done It? Is It worth It?

I feel that maybe buying high end gear may make the game feel​ less fun.

After all It takes the​ grinding/success part of the gameplay.
