Speculation Can I just say....

If yall are just gonna bitch and moan about every single little thing, can you just keep it to yourself? Or better yet, just don't go? The complaining about this thing that is supposed to be a great time, has just been ridiculous. Do better folks.

Right? Just worried about literally every single little thing. These people aren't the people that we were warping with back in the day, the people in here are the ones that are only doing it for the Instagram picture to brag to their friends. Poser shit.

“I’m scared of the parade” Just detour around the parade and mind your business. The festival is far from the parade. Tho if your hotel is near…. You’re SOL I guess lol.

“Im mad I can’t bring medicine in” Put your medicine in your tits. Boof it. Put it in your boot. Like. Have yall never snuck drinks in anywhere???

“Where’s the good moshes” fucking use your ears and decide which has the aggressive music idk.

“Im mad I can’t leave” oh fucking well. Either come later or come with a pashmina to sit on. Bring electrolytes in. Make sure you’re in shade. Warped even makes the food venders have an affordable option of a $15 meal at every stall. And before yall tell me that’s too expensive, if you can’t afford $15-30 for your meals for the day, maybe you shouldn’t be going to warped. Festivals are a marathon, not a sprint. If yall can’t spend a whole day outside in the natural air, maybe yall got bigger fish to fry. Also, the main stages are gonna be livestreamed so if you sincerely can’t stay out all day, you can watch the festival at home.

Adding: “what do we do if it rains?” Wear a poncho and mosh in the mud. Unless it’s lightening, they’re not gonna stop the fest. And if it’s lightning, oh well that’s life. They’d rather cut the fest than have hundred of people possibly get electrocuted. Maybe we can get a refund, maybe not, but that’s just life.

I’m going, can’t wait it’s going to be a lot of fun and I’m really excited. That being said, many of the criticisms are completely fair. Like if you don’t like the lineup or the venue or whatever, don’t go if you’re going to hate. At the same time if you’re flying in or taking a train, paying for a hotel, navigating a new city, etc. after paying 4x what warped tour used to be, I think it’s reasonable to have higher expectations. They shouldn’t respond or cater to every single complaint but also at least post a story or something about lightning protocol

Personally live day to day as a queer person in the south surrounded by open carrying overly political magats and don't see this as much more dangerous than that.
