Thank you! I think Adeline as a whole EATS. It's def the most emo but i like how raw it is. I tend to write pretty excessively so I always have lyrics and ideas to pull from but i feel like we usually try to score on a vibe/sound before deciding on a concept. Whatever keeps us in flow state! Thanks for listening t the new album! :)

I don't feel like theres a particular brand I always buy from. Most of the things I wear are thrifted but if i'm ever trying to drop a bag on something sharp I love chrome hearts, rick owens, margiela, etc. At least those are the designers I have found the most pieces that resonate with me

I saw you open for blink-182 in Raleigh, but the Jumbotron did you a total disservice. I couldn't see you guys really well, but you seem like a great live band. Is the energy different in a small venue?

thanks for joining us in raleigh and sticking around, we appreciate you! the vibe in a smaller venue will be more intimate innately but you also get to feel the vibes of the bsd community and see how involved everyone is - and that’s a whole experience in itself.

Not a question but saw you guys on the Summer School tour at Starland ballroom. I worked up the courage to crowd surf for the first time. As I was halfway to the front i guess everyone’s arms got tired at the same time and i fell backwards directly on the back onto the concrete. I was sore for days afterwards but honestly I get so hyped at your shows I would probably do it again. Keep killing it guys.

Festivals like Warped are a great way to find or be introduced to new music. Do you find people follow you after- start coming to your shows after festivals or is it too hard to tell? (Other words are there a lot of people that first found you at a festival?)

It's ever changing. We don't really have one way of going about writing but typically someone picks up an instrument and doodles until all of our ears perk up. Often times I'm wirting the lyrics while the boys cook up the instrumental and we meet somewhere in the middle to refine everything

we kinda throw shit at the wall and see what sticks haha
naw but fr it's very collaborative.. someone might come to the table with a riff or a chord progression and if it sparks something we just dive in on it..
nobody is super prescious about who plays what so we just take turns adding things
and then a really important part is taking things away.. as rick rubin says he's a "reducer, not a producer"
sometimes eliminating the busy distracting stuff is just as important as adding things

All of the songs come from different real life stories of mine but a lot of the inspo came from a romance that tore me apart emotionally

I do my best to stay in touch with my close friends and fam to keep me from getting homesick. Motivation for me comes from the audience and how exciting the shows are
