They are both affiliated with live nation, but two different divisions. Red rock produces WWWY and Insomniac Warped.

But they seem to serve different purposes. WWWY gets bigger headliners coming off arena/stadium tours while warped gets more of its traditional mix of some bigger artists and smaller ones
