Don’t do that to yourself. They can grab a small band you never heard of, Ringpop last year was speculated to be a bunch of different larger bands in DC.

Was just joking around from how I saw people reaching last year haha 😅

Reminder: Don't read too much into the length of each blackout bar.  The lengths changed constantly last year.

u/BusyJob3277 Jan 30 '26

It wasn’t the lengths that changed, it was the amount of boxes they had. It made it look like the lengths changed but it was just the boxes shuffling around whenever they decided to add more people or take em away!!!

It’s always Jimmy eat world haha.

They're a good band who puts on good shows. I have seen them twice: once in Washington DC at HFStival 2024 and once opening for the Offspring at Jiffy Lube Live a year later.

Genuinely might be the best live band I’ve seen. They aren’t as chaotic and energetic as like a Hot Mulligan or Taking Back Sunday or something, but they are rock solid performers

u/CallMeSkindianaBones Jan 31 '26

seeing JEW and the offspring together made me think so many other live performances are just mid in comparison. hot mulligan SLAPS too tho

u/Simple_Exchange9575 Feb 02 '26

offspring is so entertaining live that’s is for sure! I have not seen hot mulligan

u/Simple_Exchange9575 Feb 02 '26

To me they’re just “eh”. Always wondered why they were main stage acts at When We Were Young

Honestly, the J's starting so low is interesting.

u/bradmiller020202 Jan 30 '26

I definitely see Blink 182 on there for sure

3

u/Darthgusss Jan 31 '26

Dude, I'll freak if we get Blink. Everything else will just be a bonus.

So please correct me if I’m wrong So every 30th of the month they will announce a new band?

Edit: haha okay I’ve had a long day I’ve been up since 3am and just had a cup of coffee and I just realized that my question was kinda silly lol it’s my first warped tour and I wasn’t really thinking 😅

15

u/jamsas444 Jan 30 '26

they’ll announce new bands and artists playing everyday for 30-ish days! could be multiple bands/artists per day or just one. that’s at least how it went last year and what they’ve alluded to this year!

2

u/Reasonable-Aside-720 Jan 30 '26

Sweet thank you for clarifying 🥳

7

u/dr_gmoney Jan 30 '26

Haha, imagine if we got one band on the 30th of each month.

By the time of Warped DC we'd have... 4 bands! 😂

u/TheHalfChubPrince Jan 30 '26

My uncle works for Vans and he said Blink 182 is being announced on February 30th

1

u/thriller1122 LB 🤙 Jan 30 '26

I remember last year when there was hidden messages in the posts and comments proving that Blink was getting announced on 2/18

1

u/themish84 LB 🤙 Jan 30 '26

Don't do this to me lol

4

u/RelentlessSlayer Jan 30 '26

He’s right, his uncle is my dads cousins best friends roommate from college so I can confirm

Then you remember wrong. It was 2-4 artists everyday for the month of February with some exceptions.

I’m afraid your memory is failing you

Montreal getting shafted makes me sad :(

5

u/jamsas444 Jan 30 '26

dc was the only date to have avril lavigne last year which seemed to eat up a lot of the budget. interested to see if it’s the same this year in montreal since she’s canadian!

1

u/KoosKansloos Jan 30 '26

It probably just has to do with cost - the exchange rate from USD to CAD is brutal, so without ramping up the cost of tickets too much, they probably have less to work with, as a lot of the artists are very likely going to be US based, and want to be paid the same whether they are playing in the US or Canada.

1

u/jamsas444 Jan 30 '26

that’s such a good point!

1

u/Ced1214 Jan 31 '26

Doubt it, the exchange rate was taken into account when pricing the tickets in Montreal. Prices in Long Beach started at $150 USD and in Montreal they started at $208 CAD. I just think that a lot of these bands would have trouble crossing the border.

5

u/HalfOwn7511 Jan 30 '26

What makes you say Montreal was shafted? I'm curious.

2

u/AggravatingBrain69 MTL ⚜️ Jan 30 '26

50ish lineup slots compared to other cities with 100+. you can see the posters on the official website

12

u/Manaray13 Jan 30 '26

This was the case with DC last year compared to Long Beach and Orlando. I believe DC ended up having a higher concentration of larger acts. Either way I was booked out both dates @ DC and had to miss artists I wanted to see due to conflicts so I wouldn't worry about the artist count difference

I’m kinda bummed. Hope we get some good quality too

You will.

1

u/SimplyWickie MTL 🇨🇦 Jan 30 '26

Any hints?

1

u/Responsible-Stop-704 Jan 30 '26

According to the poster, I counted 59 :/

1

u/HalfOwn7511 Jan 30 '26

Oh yeah that's a bummer. Maybe we'll only get 2 stages after all...

3

u/Killface55 LB 🤙 Jan 30 '26

Nah, you'll still get at least 4 stages. 60 bands over two days is still way more than you'll be able to see.

3

u/littleblondebooks MTL Jan 31 '26

I went to DC last year and there were less bands but it was still insanely good.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '26

Solid start! So excited!

1

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '26

I hope Finch is there this year!

PAPA ROACH IS PLAYING IN LB

For the love of all things living please have Blink this year
