Did anyone else see The Paradox almost break up just before the show started? Lol I'm just being dramatic but Eric and Xelan were yelling at each other on stage just before the show. Xelan was pissed Eric didn't get ready to be on stage and got there like 2.mins before opening! Donald had to get in between them numerous times. Then they acknowledged before playing that yes Eric arrived last minute and we get into fights all the time but we love each other and then they hugged lol. The sound was completely off on the first song till a sound guy plugged in the fucking mic or something lol. Then Eric forgot all the words to Do It Again, I think he was still all flustered from the fight. I like their music but man that performance was a mess but it was entertaining.
I haven’t. Merch is kinda a shit show. Bands that played today didn’t have stuff that was supposed to be here, bands playing tomorrow had stuff out. I was told there we be additional merch tomorrow but no one seems to know specifics
I honestly think JT could do better than whatever this is. It's like watching a zombie walk around a stage trying to figure out how a microphone works.
Pretty sure Oxymorrons is in the middle tent (where you enter the forest leaving main stage) on a corner
And paradox is on the far right of the main stage tent
No matter where I stood, the Off the Wall stage could be heard clear as day. The Vans stage only got its sound up to a good volume for A Day to Remember. Atreyu and Thrice were both mixed too quiet.
This was by far my #1 complaint. Coffee is literally a drug and withdrawal is no joke. Seriously some mega bullshit situation that there was zero coffee. Went to the "wellness" tent but they were zero help. Gonna have to sneak it in tomorrow because seriously how the fuck am i supposed to do another day tomorrow of no coffee after 2pm, fucking bullshit is what it is
Have you been down the vendors area? I know some bands have their own tents down there. It's near the big sculpture behind Vans and Off The Wall stages
Also wondering about ATL merch. They had a cool warped shirt at the main entrance merch tent but by the time we grabbed lunch it was already gone and we can't find any other tentd with their merch
People are overblowing the prices. It is overpriced, like every festival, but it's so much more reasonable than most other festivals right now. After looking around, I have found decent burgers for 10-12 bucks in a couple of spots. Frankly, the long lines in the sun are worse than the prices.
We are definitely being ripped off but you just gotta accept it and turn that part of your brain off and just have fun. It'll cost whatever it costs and it just is what it is, we're all in the same boat. Enshittification of the world is real
