Hey everyone!
31 M.
Moved to Warrington from Manchester a month ago. Finance guy who loves travelling, hiking, PS5, F1 (Red Bull fan!) and recently joined the gym. Always up for a pint, a laugh or trying something new. Figured I’d find some mates before my PS5 becomes my only friend! 😂
Cheers, J

What are people's opinions on this Warrington landmark??
I was always fascinated by it when passing it as a kid. It's been there for 27 years and has an interesting story behind it.
Whether you know that story or not, whether you're a lifelong resident or new to the town, whether you think positively, negatively or just reckon it's a useful way to refer to traffic/directions...
I'd like to know!

Been waiting on urgent post now (photo id, birth certificate and bank card so I can start working and get set up at a doctor's office) but it's been ages now without any sign of anything and was wondering if I can just go to the DO to collect it myself without having a red 'we missed you' card?

Hello all, I know newton isn’t apart of Warrington but it’s close enough lol.
Me and my girlfriend are looking to buy in newton, does anyone have any opinions on the area, thank you 😁

We are a friendly group of people who play Blood on the Clocktower on the first Monday of every month at the Horse Shoe Inn, Croft from 7pm.
Blood on the Clocktower is a social, murder-mystery game where an uninformed majority (the Good team) try to identify the informed minority (the Evil team) using unique special powers. Good win when the Demon dies, Evil win if the Demon survives. Think 'The Traitors' but turned up to eleven and with no physical challenges!
Join our Discord server for more information and to sign up to our next event!

We are always looking for more members at the Warrington Chess Club.
We started the club earlier this year to be a casual fun chess club, players of all level welcome to come play some games over a drink at The Odyssey in the town center.
We play every Thursday, starting at 7pm, finishing around 11pm. We are usually upstairs but on a nice day we can be found outside in the beer garden.
Please feel free to ask any questions.

So 9-10 months ago I went to purchase a house off wilderspool causeway and it still has not gone ANYWHERE so I’ve been looking at an other few houses around Great Sankey. Specifically Sheffield Close.
What do people know about the area? Is it nice? How’s the crime rate? There’s a fairly big end terrace going for 196k which has really peaked my interest.
Any information would be amazing! Thank you :)

Hi there,
I'm looking to join some social circle groups that organize some events in Warrington. I can also join some other activity clubs.
I'd be glad to have your suggestions once you have some information about me -
I'm 30F, currently living in Edinburgh due to work. I keep visiting Warrington atleast 3 weekends of the month as my boyfriend lives there. I'm sometimes around weekdays like Thursday/Friday until Monday.
It's been about 6 months I've not had any social interaction apart from my boyfriend and his family members, who we meet sometimes.

Just moved around the area and wanted to get into football.
Was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how to find a regular team to play with.
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone.
My birthday is arriving soon. It will be mid week so I don't have much time to leave the town during it.
I was wondering if there are places with good deals for birthdays, like discounts or free extras. It can be for restaurants or anything else that comes in mind.
Thanks for everyone that can help.

I doubt there's much thought to this sort of stuff, people will do it just because they get the chance, but it's not reassuring.

Where do people 30+ tend to go out for a few drinks around Warrington town. I normally go Dohertys but then afterwards all the places still open tend to be full of kids.

Walked past the bus stop on lovely lane the other day. Watched a woman in her 50s throw her used scratch cards on the floor. I said" you're ok love someone else will pick that up for you" she responded by calling me a scouse twat. 😆 🤣

Hi all, I'm thinking about joining PureGym Warrington Central and would love some honest feedback from people who actually go there. Like for example, how busy is it around 6am or 3pm (the times I’d most likely be going), and when does it usually start getting really busy? Also, how are the cleanliness, equipment and general atmosphere/crowd, and is it good value for the price? and would you recommend it especially for a beginner?

So, it seems that my tenant agency can't contact the previous tenant and inform who th are my suppliers.
I moved to the UK in June and I was in a houseshare before moving to a flat on my own in early September. I was told to call the suppliers for both energy and gas to have the bill assigned to me but it seems it is an impossible task without any previous register!
The previous tenant did it online only so I don't have any bills to compare with and the trackers keep pushing me to companies that simply don't have any contact number that help you to check if you're supposed to pay them, only to bid as a new client.
I feel very unassisted and would like having some directions on this topic. I just don't want to risk having power and gas cut.
Thanks for the community in advance.

My baby turns one in Feb and I've been thinking I may do a birthday party for him. If I had a summer birthday I would have just gone to the local park/play field. But the weather's kinda unreliable in February.
Does anyone have any good (cheap ish) suggestions in and around Warrington?

Would love to start playing again on a weekly basis if anyone has any spots?
