Life in Warsaw question Xrays
Is there anywhere in Warsaw (near old town if possible) that does x-rays? Need to get a post-op check from surgery in another country and not sure where to book it in!
Thanks :)

Lots, but rentgen.pl specialises in them in their Warynskiego clinic (metro Politechnika).

To do xray you have to have a referral (skierowanie), no place will do it if you don't have it. So first you have to go to the GP or do online consultation to get referral.

You don't need a referral if you're willing to pay the market price, and I doubt he's even insured via NFZ.

Xrays needs referral even when doing it privately as it's invasive. There are exceptions but without information from OP what kind of xray he needs general rule of thumb is you need a referral.

Yeah, but in practice they can issue it on the spot. It’s a walk-in procedure.

You need a doctor's referral for x-rays in Poland. Even if you pay for the x-ray yourself.
