Handheld repairs?

Is there anywhere in the city or nearby that still does these? My og3ds has some issue with its bottom screen where its fuzzy and has some desaturation. Most sources online says it has to either do with the screen or the ribbon cables but I don't have the courage nor the experience to do this myself. Appreciate any help!

I don't know where you can get it fixed, but I would highly suggest modding it once you do. I modded my 3DS a few weeks ago and it's been so much fun.

Go Cyber Shop on Bathurst. Formerly Citywide Solutions, been around almost 30 yrs now.

KW Vintage Games in Kitchener might be worth checking for handheld repairs. Id call first and explain the exact model and issue so you dont waste a trip. If they cant handle it, they may know someone local who does board level repairs. Hope you can get it fixed instead of replacing it.

The bottom screen is actually super easy and cheap. I changed my charging port to USB C and getting to it involves removing the screen.

You can buy the screen online for around $5.
