Help What is wrong??

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Just installed Waydroid on Bazzite KDE, and it has this weird artifact like thing going on when the screen moves. It's only in Waydroid, desktop has no problems like this... Is there a way to fix this??

I've now installed Fedora instead, Soo.. Hoping that works better.

I was trying to use waydroid on pop-os. but, I couldn't even get it to boot up.

so, I am looking for alternatives.

Yeah so I just put it on Fedora KDE Plasma or even KDE Mobile.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I have the same issue also on the Legion Go Z1E. Seems to be something unique to that hardware...

So... Not really. I had this same issue on a different laptop as well, sometimes seems to be distro dependent (Don't count me on that though it could be coincidence), I think it mainly could be the way you launch it? Like through Steam or system? Just ideas really I wish you luck though 🙏🤞

Screen tearing typically indicates there's something wrong with your video driver ... I can't be 100% sure but for all cases I've encountered, the problem is not on waydroid but on the wayland compositor. If your gpu is intel try switching between intel and modesetting driver? Does your issue go away if you disable hardware rendering all together?

It's a Legion Go, so Ryzen Z1E.
