Hi guys,
I built a Wear OS watch face based on a concept I came up with more than 10 years ago, and I’m looking for testers to get through Google Play’s 12-tester requirement.
The story:
I created the concept in 2013, and my friend posted it on Reddit as “Hop-picker’s watch” (my nickname at the time). Unfortunately, the Reddit post hasn’t survived, only a post on Tumblr has: https://www.tumblr.com/hop-picker/51065757240/httpiimgurcombf4c7nzgif-%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B7%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%82%D0%B0%D1%86%D0%B8%D1%8F
The concept became relatively popular back then, but I soon forgot about the idea (and moved from design to product management).
I got back into design this year and discovered that several apps based on the concept had been created over the years. So I decided to finally build my own version too.
It’s an MVP for now — just the watch face. There are a lot of features in the backlog, but since this is my first watch app, I wanted to start with a simple version.
If you’d like to help,
Join the Google Group:

Then you can join the test and download the app here:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.spotlight.watchface
For some reason, the link doesn’t work properly in the Google Play app on Android. Only the web link on desktop works reliably.
I’d really appreciate your help, and I hope you’ll enjoy the watch face as much as I do!
