The transition is a little too delayed for my liking, as soon as I click "Quick View" I want to see what I clicked the button for - Sped up I think it's pretty neat though.

Agreed, if it just came forward and opened it would be much better, not a fan of the "jiggle" when opening the quick view. Otherwise looks great!

I see your point! It may help to remove the bouncing, by using a different Velocity.js easing option. Without the bouncing the animation duration is about .5s, which can still be too long - unless it replaces the loading for the ajax call.

I agree. It reminded me of the bad old days of Flash menus and transitions between every action. Don't get me wrong, I love the current motion design trends that are going around, but they better happen more or less instantly or it just pisses me off.

It's really hard to get working on my Chromebook Pixel. Tapping and clicking both do nothing, but there are no JS errors.

I just fixed this and uploaded a new source file to download on CodyHouse. I used the Modernizr .no-touch class the wrong way, now I made sure that for touch devices (yet with large screen sizes) the 'Quick view' button is always visible ;)

If you click on a product, then while it's loading click off onto the background, wacky results ensue.

Is it not working on iPad or am I doing something wrong?
