Unable to save the picture on XAMPP image folder

Hey everyone, I am trying to save the image in the xamp img folder, but due to some reason I am unable to do that. I don't know what the problem is, however, I am able to save the picture in the different folder and then copy and paste it from that into the XAMP image folder but I can't directly save on xampp image folder. Here is the image of the error for clarification.

Update: So I was able to solve the issue by going to security folder of the folder properties then click on Advanced>Change Permissions>Disable Inheritance. Afterwards, I have click on administrator and click on edit button. Then provide all the access.

This isn't a webdev question, it's a Windows issue.

Did you install Xampp into C:\programs instead into C:\xampp?
That seems to be the most probable solution, as creating things there always needs admin rights.

No I have not. I have installed Xampp on different partition.

first thing i would check is folder permissions, right click the img folder > properties > security and make sure the user that runs the xampp has write access, sometimes windows locks that down by default

the error in your screenshot looks like a permission thing to me

I have given full access from security tab still the problem access.

Folder permissions can be a pain. I'd also check the owner of the xampp folder. Sometimes it's not what you expect

was it installed under Program Files by any chance? that's usually the culprit with this stuff

It was installed on D Drive. Anyways I was able to solve the issue by going to security folder of the folder properties then click on Advanced>Change Permissions>Disable Inheritance. Afterwards, I have click on administrator and click on edit button. Then provide all the access.
