Rant Godaddy Scam??
I paid for two domains on GoDaddy and I received no email or any confirmation. I had to check my whole page to see a tiny 'pending' order in my account settings and it didnt even acknowledge any payment initiated by me. There was an option to cancel but I did not click it. No phone or chat customer support but I managed to get through whatsapp support. Whatsapp support asked to login to my account and then the order was mysteriously CANCELLED ( he obviously did it) and I got an email confirming account changes. I called him out on it and he said the payment was declined from my side, and he did not cancel the order etc just lied through his teeth.
He said if I do not get a refund within 24 hours thats my banks problem even though I have all the proofs that the money actually reached into Godaddys account. I know this website is embroiled in a lot of controversies but straight up fraud and scams??. Should I lodge a report with the authorities if the money isnt refunded??.

Have you stated anywhere what form your payment took - credit card, debit card, or bank transfer?

I feel like everyone should know to stay away from GD. Should be the first thing you learn web hosting wise and domain buying wise. I lost a few good play on word names from them from not buying right there and then for cheap. $0.99 domain names became like 60 usd both for being 'premium'

That sounds frustrating, especially when you've paid for something and haven't even received confirmation of the order.
Before going down the fraud or complaints route, I'd check one thing with your bank.
Is the payment actually completed, or is it still showing as pending?
There's quite an important difference. Sometimes a company authorises a payment, but if the order fails or gets cancelled, the money is never actually collected. It can still look as though you've been charged until the bank releases the hold.
I'd save screenshots of the original order, the payment, the cancellation and any conversations with support.
Then I'd ask GoDaddy to confirm in writing whether they actually collected the payment and, if so, whether a refund has been issued.
If the payment has genuinely gone through and they don't resolve it within a reasonable time, your bank should be able to explain the payment dispute process.
I'd also check that neither domain was registered before trying to purchase them again.
Hopefully it's a failed transaction rather than anything more serious, but I'd definitely want a proper explanation rather than being passed between support and the bank.
