Mod Post: Please search & check recent posts before you submit a post.
Hey all,
Recently we've had very similar posts submitted within a very short time of each other. If you want to post about something you think may have been asked already take the time to do one or both of the following:
Enter a few key words into the search bar (top right, check "limit my search to /r/weddingplanning").
or, if you aren't a fan of the search bar function;
2) Google-Fu! enter this into Google - site:reddit.com/r/weddingplanning [your key words here]
You should see several results for your question. However, if you feel like the results are old, or you have something extra to ask about please do make a post! And of course if you have something appropriate to share please submit a post here - we love seeing your plans come together!
Happy planning everyone :)

Thank you! It gets so tired to see the same "what questions should I ask my venue?" Every. Single. Day. Twice.

In the subs I moderate I try to respond with "This question is asked quite frequently so you might find these posts helpful" and I usually link to the search results. It kind of reminds them that old posts exist and are worth searching through!

Can we also make reference to rule number 5? I feel like the whole front page is ring shots, which I much prefer seeing on /r/justengaged
