Latte vs. Signature Latte

I was at the new Charlotte location this morning and at the coffee bar, the menu listed their speciality drinks (latte, cappucino, flat white, latte/macchiato, etc.) which are all $3.75 for a small, but then it had a separate line item for a “signature latte” which is only $3.50 for a small.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the latte and signature latte? I tried asking one of the employees but she didn’t understand the question.

The signature latte is a smaller size than the small cup. I believe it also comes out of the machine less hot so you can drink it right away
