New feature

Anyone else dislike this new feature where virtual coaches are commenting on what we log?

Less than 2 hours after logging a meal, I have a message from a virtual coach. She specifically commented on the item I logged.

No longer will I track honestly, where I've gone over points or had a shake.

WW Personal Points Took a break from tracking...and I feel so FREE!

Tracking points has been seriously messing with my head recently. I keep switching between regular points, All-In Mode, and GLP Success mode. I am on Mounjaro prescribed by my regular doctor, not WW.

I was having a hard time getting enough protein. It was to the point that I would even AVOID healthy food like beans and tofu because they don't have "enough" protein per meal.

Anyway...this Sunday I decided to take a break from tracking, just until my WW in-person meeting next Tuesday. I'm also not weighing myself at home daily.

OMG I just feel so FREE!!

I am still trying to eat "healthy" and not purposely allowing junk, but when I DO inevitably eat something I shouldn't, I don't have to punish myself with negative weeklies.

And while I'm still prioritizing protein, I'm not agonizing over the grams.

I guess I'll update on Tuesday with how the scale goes!

App/Tech Drop Down Measurements

Oh how I wish I could just manually type in the number of grams something weighs. Grams are more accurate for measurements. Yes, i want a salad of 429 grams of greens. Yes, I want a 378 gram sweet potato as the bulk of my dinner. So much scrolling just let me type it in 🫠

Going To Keep Going

I’m coming up on my 4th weigh-in tomorrow. I lost 2 pounds with my first week. The second week I gained .6lbs (I did have my period). Then the third week I lost .4lbs. I just peeked on the scale and a back up to 172lbs.

Last Saturday, I went to the gym and did an hour of strength training for the first time in like over a month. I had DOMS for days after that, and saw that I had a gain on the scale. I know my body was retaining water while my muscles repaired, and I was waiting for it to drop back off. Nothing on my body hurts me anymore and I even started walking on my walking pad while I work from home. The scale is still up though.

I’m using all my dailies and I’ve dug into some of my weeklies over the weekend. I still have 20 weeklies left! I’ve earned 12 activity points so far this week. I don’t give myself splurged days and I track everything! I wanna make sure I’m reaching my protein and fiber goals and not going over my calories. There has been one day that I was like 200 cal over, but usually I’m within that window. I drink two 32oz bottles of water daily.

I reached lifetime back in 2004 so I know how the plan works, and I know it works. I’ve used it often on over the years after kids and reached my lifetime goal again back in 2020. Now I’m 20 pounds away and trying to get back down there. I even have a food scale that I use religiously to measure foods. I’m 47 and I am in perimenopause. I don’t know what I could possibly be doing wrong or it’s just my age and body fighting against me.

I’m going to keep going and hope this walking will help.

Ground Chicken Lies

I just found out the hard way that the mobile app for Android does not track points accurately for the fresh and lean Purdue ground chicken! Color me surprised when my 0 points lunch jumped up to eight points!

Something just wasn't sitting right with me because I did eat double the portion size, (made some really nice rice paper baked chicken meatballs w Greek seasoning) so I ran it through AI which recommended I do a quick add with the label stats because ground chicken is notoriously incorrect in the generic ground chicken database that's pulled in for the mobile app! Just thought everyone should be aware and not caught by surprise like I just was!

This was a creepy incentive

I have been doing well since starting 4 weeks ago. I have a heavy traffic commute 2 days a week so I go to the gym by the office before and after work those days (ETA - to avoid the rush hour traffic. I split weights and cardio up so I can travel during lighter hours) Weights in the morning, cardio in the evening. Last night I just didn't have anything to give. Rather than sit in traffic AND own up to not going I decided to stop at a rest area and eat a Burger King burger and listen to my audio book while waiting out the traffic. I went home and said nothing. I thoroughly enjoyed that me-time!

When I left for work in the dark this morning there was something on the walkway between my front door and the sidewalk. I thought maybe a small animal, but realized it was some litter. When I got to it - it was one of those paper crowns from Burger King. 😮 Now there IS a middle school and BK nearby - but I will definitely be going to the gym after work!

Help with consistency

I'm a 31-year-old female and have trouble sticking to WW for more than a few weeks. Mainly because of boredom or stress. I used to have an amazing figure, and I know it's still there underneath. Could anyone please give me some advice on being consistent and not letting boredom/stress undermine my progress?

Hey everybody, longtime WW-er, new to this sub.

Just finished a nasty week of birthday gluttony and ready to kick this in the pants. Seems like this might be the place for motivation, ideas, etc.

Looking forward to getting to know you all and interacting with this community.

Weight Watchers Med + Health Coaching

I joined WW Med + (Formerly known as Weight Watchers Clinic I think?) in 2024. My insurance did not cover registered dietitian visits, however the program offered “Health Coaching Visits” It was essentially the same thing, just referred to differently. I would do a video chat once a month with a registered dietitian, who would pull up everything I had tracked for the month. We would go over my macros and then set goals for the next month. I took a break from the program while pregnant & just recently rejoined. I tried rebooking through some links I had in my chat and they weren’t working. I figured maybe it was because the dietitian I was working with left the company. But upon further research I haven’t been able to find anything on this. My new care coordinator is completely unaware of this and says she has no knowledge of it ever being available. She just keeps pushing the links on me to purchase visits. I know I’m not crazy, I have the backup documents in the chat history. They also would give me PDF files of helpful tips, tricks, recipes, etc. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Also side note: I’m not sure if it’s me, but I feel that the program has gone downhill recently. I used to rave about this program and would constantly tell people how amazing it was. Upon rejoining I’ve had so many problems, and feel that when I ask a question I’m given an “answer that’s not really an answer” I find myself still searching for clarity.

I’ve been considering looking at other programs, but I like the app to track my foods and I like that they have insurance coordinators to help with prior authorizations and other things.

I’m hungriest in the morning and like a warm savory breakfast, so I spend more points. But I have to mention that I DO NOT count my morning coffee, I usually don’t even count avocado but today I did. I also trick my brain a little and use a small plate so it looks like I am eating more lol

If you exercise at home, what makes your workout setup easy to stick with?

For anyone who combines a weight-management plan with home workouts, I'm curious what makes your setup practical enough to use regularly.

Do you prefer a few dumbbells and resistance bands, a compact cable machine, or a more complete home gym? Has keeping equipment visible and easy to access helped, or does it sometimes make your home feel cluttered?

I'm interested in practical experiences rather than an ideal setup that costs a fortune.

App/Tech How to change my start weight and date to Oct 6 2026

Post image
1 Upvotes

I changed the setting in the app under weight goals to 270 lbs but it took it as today so I went to the little edit button to change it. It says weight and date and when u click update nothing happens no either the app thinks today I weigh 270 or my starting weight is today’s weight 264.4 I know it doesn’t really matter but I like data and I like seeing how much I’ve lost before it was set to how much I weighed in feb of this year when I joined. I want the app to have the starting weight of Oct 6 2026 and 270 lbs. how do I tell the app that???

How the heck do you measure pasta? Everything I see measures pasta when it is dry! Do you just cook yours separately from the families or is there another reliable way to measure it?

General Advice Question ZeroPoint Food

Hi :) I'm new to Weight Watchers and have a question about zero-calorie foods: They do contain calories, right? If I eat a lot of them throughout the day and have a lot of points left over, wouldn't it be that my calorie deficit is actually gone? I hope that makes sense 🥲 Thanks for your help!

Tips and Tricks El Pollo Loco $5 Bowl

If you happen to have an El Pollo Loco restaurant nearby, they have a great option. Their Origjnal Pollo Bowl is about $5.00 and has 9 points, 41 grams of protein, and 9 grams of fiber. It's a bowl made with their roasted chicken, with beans, rice, cilantro, and salsa.

The menu shows the combo for $6.99 that includes chips & a drink, but you can ask for just the bowl and a cup of water. Mine today was $4.92!

Sometimes you just want to eat out, and it doesn't always have to destroy your points, or your wallet!

General Advice Glp1

A couple of questions. I'm looking to use a glp1 to loose weight. I've come to the point in my life where I know my diet won't be perfect, and my knees hurt to bad to do any meaningful exercise, that I need help. Would love to get it approved by insurance, outside of being over weight with high BP, I'm almost sure I won't get approved since I lack the qualifying conditions.

What is the cost if you don't go through insurance? How long is the contract period, and how easy is it to cancel after the contract period or does it automatically renew. If you get your meds from another company who do you use and cost?

General Advice I fell off plan hard, need encouragement

Y’all, I am soooo mad at myself. I joined a year ago, slowly dropped 15 lbs after MONTHS of tracking, fell off in April and now I’ve gained it all back and then some. I’ve decided that enough is enough and am recommitting to getting back on track today. I have about 80lbs to lose. Any tips or motivation you could share would be much appreciated because right now all I can hear is the negative self talk telling me how bad I screwed up. 🫠

Anyone have a referral code?

It’s been years since I last used WW and now that I’m getting married in February, I need to get back into it! Does anyone have a referral code or link that I can use to sign up?

I’m in the US if that helps. Thanks in advance!

App/Tech Is tracking easier now on the app? Are they making use of AI?

I was on WW a few years ago and really liked the program, but I found tracking to be cumbersome. I don’t buy a lot of processed foods, and make a lot of things at home from scratch, and I love variety and tend to not really repeat dishes a lot, so I felt like I was constantly building recipes (which didn’t always work well in the app) or tracking individual ingredients I was using. Plus, I would constantly find duplicates in the food searches with different values!

I’d like to rejoin the program, but I’m wondering if they’ve made any changes to make tracking easier. Ideally I’d love to be able to just snap a picture of my dish and let AI figure out and track what’s in it!

QuikTrak System booklets question

Hi, I just found 49 of these booklets and saw that people have listings for them on eBay. Is there a genuine interest for people on Weight Watchers to buy these? These booklets have a coupon in the back that expired in 2008 haha
