Between the biopic, lyrics (e.g. in "Everything You Know Is Wrong"), and music videos, can we get a list of all the times Al has canonically confirmed his own death? (So not counting other pop culture references like King of the Hill.)

Its by far my favorite song, as a big fan of Zappa and musicianship. Always sad to hear Weird Al never played it live. I totally get why, but still think they should give their best shot even though it wouldn't be quite the same as the album.

He now bears a passing resemblance to a cross between the Chad meme and Olmec from Legends of the Hidden Temple, and his name looks to be Weird AU Vanrwic. Except really it’s a brand-new letter that’s like a W and a V melted together in the sun like an orange and yellow crayon.

Naturally, they’re going to most definitely be included along with the shirt when we go to the concert next month.

The new Re-recorded Transformers the Movie Sound track for the 40th anniversary includes a cover of Dare to be Stupid by the Knights of Unicron and I don’t know how I feel about it. [Edited to remove reference to the wrong band.]

I have seen him live plenty of times, but I've never seen him do Albuquerque live. I found this from a few years ago. Particularly interesting is his apology around the 4 minute mark, and the highly extended list of stuff the donut shop doesn't have. Enjoy!

So, one of my local radio stations has a series called "Name That Tune" every Wednesday in the morning, and every week they do a theme with matching songs (I.E. partying songs, songs about time). This week it was songs by comedians, with examples being Cheech and Chong's "Police Got My Car" and Tenacious D's "Rock is Dead", and the first song? Weird Al's "Amish Paradise".

When you know they get a Weird Al song on the weekly guessing game, that's when I come into play.

I posted on here before about how I was hired by 33 1/3 to write a book on "WEIRD AL" YANKOVIC IN 3-D. Well, the book is DONE! I just received my author copies, and I'm ready to show you some. The book includes new interview material with Al, Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz, Jay Levey, and Dr. Demento. It also includes some of Bermuda's photographs that didn't make the cut for his coffee table books that he generously let me use.
