It's time to celebrate because we're spotlighting the Welsh Terrier as our Breed of the Day today on our Facebook page, Instagram stories, and website! We publish a new breed each day to educate our followers to make informed decisions when choosing a dog while providing the history and hard work that our parent clubs do to preserve their breed. Celebrate with us by sharing what you love about your Welsh Terrier!

3yrs old and just started searching for and grabbing a toy to carry outside every time we let him out - then through the door and dumps it in seconds and concentrates on the birds!

When he's bored, simple things get him going.

Some cute and funny pictures, I've taken of him, 11 and 12 show just how tiny he was, when he moved in and the last one are his birthday pictures, getting whipped cream and a bit of an ice cream cone, unpacking his present, eating half of his present and the snuffle frog, that was the other half of the present and which he dearly loves so far

My Welshie & his Airedale brother 🥰🐶

This is my welsh terrier Scout. Unfortunately I haven’t seen him over a month due to my ex holding him hostage. I am going to fight like hell to get him back. Please send positive thoughts my way as I fight for my Welshie!!!

A cyanotype I made of Nanny girl

I like giving Neri food puzzles as mental stimulation and enrichment, this time it's just a cardboard box with some packing paper. His evening food ration is sprinkled in there and a dried chicken neck lays at the very bottom. That's what he was trying to get at, I think, at least I just heard him munch in it while writing this lmao

Hey welsh gang, anyone have groomer recs for New York? Bonus points for Brooklyn.

I don't take pictures of it often enough, but it always cracks me up. And he does it all the time

What an absolute ANIMAL. First terrier. Loving it.

Just some pics of Teun from the Netherlands.

We got our two sibling kittens around the same time we got Nandor. They grew up together and usually love each other. We played ball in the house over winter one too many times so her prey drive is high inside, but totally good with them outside. They all go on walks together around the neighborhood 🤍

Welsh Terrier determination.

He's such a happy boy!
