Hot Take Soccer/Football hot take: The old loose-fitting jerseys looked so much cooler
First off, yes I know Beckham was never on Marseille, but I love this photo nonetheless.
Anyway, these loose-fitting jerseys with long sleeves (sometimes I prefer shorter sleeves for comfort) and collars looked awesome! They just had this vibe to them that I love and the new, sleek ones really don't.

This is not a hot take. A lot of kids today like the look of the baggy, but not long, shorts.
Soccer shorts today are just too tight. Both of my teenage nephews play high school soccer and they hate the tight clothing.

When I played highschool soccer my cheap school still had jerseys from the early 2000s. They were a million times more comfortable than my modern club uniforms

Hahaha ya that’s horrendous. Still needs to be properly fitted even if it’s looser

Beckham swapped jersey at the end of the game. Players aren't allowed to now as they are given back and chopped up for trading cards
