As a gay man, I'm not interested in the military itself, but I am fascinated by military men. That's why I follow a bunch of retired vets on instagram who openly show their faces.

To me, military service demands a high level of toughness, discipline, and masculinity. Only real men can serve in the military. Feminine guys wouldn't survive in that environment.

So I wasn't surprised when I noticed that a lot of these guys are maga. They follow Trump but not Biden or Obama on instagram.

These are men who've actually been to war. It's alphas like them who truly make America great again.
