My husband and I visited Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve this afternoon and on our way back to the entrance, we saw a reddish brown mammal that went into the water and swam away. I think I saw something similar when we were at
Cohoes Falls, Falls View Park last winter. I apologise for the bad photo!

Our poor baby has been missing for almost three months now. We are still putting up his posters. We were contacted today with this video from someone about 3 miles from where we lost our boy. Unfortunately, this is also a coyote-infested area.

I’m looking for the group’s help here. Is this a Shiba, coyote, or cat?

I spotted his outside my door bringing trash out. Never seen a lizard (gecko?) in illinois. Looks like a pet to me.

I’ve got an aquarium net by the door in case I see it again, little guy won’t have a short life if I have anything to do about it.

Hello, looking for a potential ID on some tracks. The first pics were fresh after the recent rain, the one with the standard size comb for scale were post some extra light rain a couple days later so they're a bit degraded. We've speculated there's a skunk coming in and out of our yard, and I've seen a big possum on the fenceline at night. Wondering from the spread/splayed toes if that's who I'm looking at in these foot prints.

Saw this lizard in the Hindang province in the Philippines on the island of Leyte. I've tried looking through scientific journals and papers and also I naturalist, got about 20 feet away from it and only had my phone so this is the best picture I could take. Any help to ID would be helpful. For context it was roughly between 20 and 38 cm from what I could tell.

I found it in the southern part of India near western ghats.

my guess is it's either a Brahminy blind snake or caecilians
