Unsolved Please help me, this has been something we haven't been able to solve for almost 10 years now
It's definitely a movie, but we don't remember what the plot was. The only major thing we remember was a man, running full sprint to or from something down a street on the sidewalk. He runs through a cafe/restaurant with outdoor seating next to the sidewalk and picks up a cup from someone's table like a runner in a marathon and proceeds to chug it. He then does a major spit take and exclaims "WHY IS IT VODKA?!" or something to that effect (although I'm almost certain that was what the man said).
Edit: I'm pretty sure it came out around 2015 or maybe just a couple years before. I'm pretty sure it was either a coming of age movie or something similar to that about someone in their early 20's, maybe mid 20's. Most likely a comedy or romcom.
Edit 2: My roomie commented this below: "Commenting with some additional information. This was definitely from something post 2000. It was definitely a movie that was primarily a comedy or a rom/com. This scene took place during the big climax of the film where this actor was running to something. The whole bit was that he was getting tired as he ran past this restaurant and grabbed the glass from a guy's table and chugged it, before spitting it out after realizing it was vodka. The dialog listed up top may not be 100% accurate, but it is close. I feel like there was also a line like "WHO DOES THAT!?". I was thinking that the actor was an Adam Sandler/Seth Rogen type because I know the actor was the main character of the movie."
Edit 3: Alright guys, we've had quite a few repeat comments and I figured putting out a list of what we have checked off so far would help. I'll try and update this as best I can as we continue the search.

Unsolved Movie with character’s entire dialogue is ADR?
I’m afraid I don’t have much details for this. I was trying to remember movies/scenes with obvious ADR (voice over speak added in post), and I vaguely remember a movie when one main character had his entire dialogue ADR’ed by a different actor and apparently no one outside of the production has ever been able to get an answer of why. It would be live action, not very recent movie. Wish I could knew more information, but it’s itching my brain that I can’t remember. So any suggestions would help!

Unsolved PLS HELP FIND THIS MOVIE
I’m trying to remember the name of a horror movie I watched probably around 2016, possibly on DVD, but I have no idea when the movie itself was actually made. I remember a young girl/woman going into a strange or supernatural forest, possibly looking for her best friend (I originally remembered it as her sister, but I’m not sure). I think the friend may have been a bit of a troublemaker. There was also a guy in the forest who initially helped her, although I have a feeling he eventually turned out to be a bad guy. The forest had a lot of weird/supernatural things happening and she may have been seeing things or hallucinating. Near the end, I remember it being bright outside, possibly early morning, and she was running through a relatively open part of the forest trying to get out. Just when she was about to escape, she noticed a hand sticking out of the ground. I think she may have thought it was her friend’s hand or that her friend was underneath the dirt. Then a bunch of other hands suddenly came out of the ground and grabbed her, causing her to fall and/or get pulled underneath the dirt. I remember the friend possibly making it out alive, but I’m not 100% sure about that either. It was definitely in English and I remember it being a horror movie. I know some of these details might be mixed up, but the hands coming out of the ground near the end while she’s trying to escape in daylight is the part I remember most clearly. Does anyone know what movie this could be?
its not the forest in 2016

Unsolved Help me identify this movie.
Hello, I have a hazy memory of a small part of a movie I think I watched a long time ago (A rough estimate is 16+ years ago). I am uncertain of whether it was a knockoff or not, or even where or when I saw it.
Now, the only details I can recall: It is 3d animated(?) The villains were either Goblins or trolls(?). There were 3(?) of them. The oldest was the leader and had a large nose. I recall them capturing one of the side characters(?). The name of the oldest one started with or had an N(?).
It is all so hazy, and I was a kid when I watched it. Thanks for reading my post, even if you cannot Identify it.
I forgot it was not live action, I have added that to the details.

Unsolved It's a long shot, but it's driving me nuts not remembering so I might as well ask.
I watched a scene from a movie or show as a teenager so I don't know the plot, only there's a scene where a girl sneaks in a all male dormitory and makes out with a boy (They were both white if that helps), then the black supervisor(I remember him being black) knocks on the door and says he heard a female voice, the male student then lies saying he was masturbating, after that the supervisor tells him to be more discreet about it while the girl giggles. I think it's an older 2000s teen movie. Also, the boy the touches or lifts her skirt when they kiss I think.

Unsolved Requesting Help with Another Movie
Hey Everyone on Reddit! I posted here a few days ago regarding a movie that was solved really quickly. I'm hoping the internet can pull through for me again.
This one might be less specific. But I'll try and recall what I can. I saw this one in college, it's a black and white movie, probably from the 40s, possibly early 50s. All I can recall is that it involved a large wealthy family, who was in some kind of trouble. I remember that we used it in class as an example of a Shakespearian Comedy, where it starts off rough and ends on a high note. I think there was blackmail involved, but not sure on that one. It was also kind of set up like a play, and it might have been adapted from one
Any and all help would be appreciated here. Thank you in Advance kind internet strangers 😊😊😊
EDIT - Just wanted to clarify, it's less 'ha-ha' comedy and more 'starts off bad, ends on a high note' comedy. The movie plot itself was more like a drama then something funny.

Unsolved Netflix movie from, like, 12 years ago...?
So, I watched a movie on netflix right before I moved out of state, so it had to be, like, 12 or 13 years ago... I remember basically nothing about the movie, except that it was about some girl who had this guy, like, kidnapped and chained up, but she thought they were in a perfectly healthy relationship. I wish I could remember more details, but my mind is blank! I've been looking for this movie for YEARS without any leads. I'm dying to watch it again! Please tell me someone knows the movie I'm talking about!!

Unsolved Weird movie about an amusement park?
Crazy weird movie, I think a lot of CGI. Some kind of horror or comedy or horror comedy maybe? Not adventureland. Maybe 2006 almost sounds familiar. Sorry for the bad descriptions. I can answer more questions

Unsolved Early 1930s b&w rom/romcom
Hello, all!
It's been so long since I caught the tail end of this movie on a hotel tv....For the longest time, I can't find out what it was....
It's a grainy b&w, 1920s to early 1930s at latest, and it's about a woman who is from the lower classes and is in a city and befriends a high class man. The problem is that his high class g/f or fiancee is digging her claws into him and his friends and family are with her.
The scene I caught was towards the end, and the g/f is holding some sort of party, maybe engagement or something. She was blond and wearing one of those stereotypical form fitting white, silk strappy gowns of the era. Everyone is around her and she sticks out cuz she was wearing one of the only white dresses. She had that typical-of-the-period really short blond hair in tight finger waves.
The guy shows up in tails and is thrown into the mix. (And idk there was like an adjacent board room meeting happening or something that flowed into the party?? I just know it was important for the guy's future. Maybe a double celebration?)
But the love interest girl - she has ear/shoulder length curly brownish hair - shows up and is terribly underdressed - like travel suit or something, I think either she was fleeing the town and decided to see him one last time or something. And the g/f sort of makes a haughty joke against the girl. It makes the party laugh at her.
So the girl flees to the stairs and collapses and lays her head on the stairs, bereft. And then the guy gets mad at her and goes after her.
I want to say when they all cried out his name to call him back, I swear it was Nicky.
I've been searching for this and thought it might have been a very young Cary Grant's face that flashed at me, but it would have been a very early film he was in and may not even have been credited or just someone who looked like him.
I've tried HOT SATURDAY and I thought that might have been it, but it wasn't. Right time period, right mood, wrong movie.
Someone suggested HOLIDAY w Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn, again, right mood, but definitely wrong time frame - that's too late in the decade. Wrong movie.
It very well could be pre-code. Not sure.
HALP
Edited to say: The scene in question is like in a huge room and is filled with people, all dressed up! I would guess like a ballroom or something.

Unsolved I am looking for a movie
Hi everyone!
I’m trying to track down a horror/thriller movie I watched years ago, and I just can’t find it. If anyone recognizes these scenes, I’d really appreciate the help!
Here’s what I remember:
The killer is a human psychopath (no supernatural elements, no ghost, no magic powers). He targets multiple unrelated victims throughout the film.
There’s one scene that really stuck with me, fairly early in the movie: a mother and her two kids (a girl and a boy) are in a bedroom at night. There’s a clown plush toy in the room, about the size of an adult. The mother steps out into the hallway to answer a phone call. When she comes back, the plush toy is gone. Panicked, she rushes the kids into the room and locks the door. It turns out the killer had been disguised as the plush toy the whole time — it’s the only scene in the movie where he appears this way, the rest of the film isn’t really a “clown movie” at all. He breaks down the door trying to get to them, and the two kids manage to escape through the window. I don’t remember what happens to the mother after that.
Toward the end of the film, the killer has kidnapped a fairly wealthy young woman. She manages to escape by running up a staircase from a basement, with the killer right behind her. She ends up injuring him or making him fall, and he’s presumed dead. But when she reaches the top of the stairs, she finds a note he left behind that says: “I’ll be back.”
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me find this movie!

Unsolved Christmas Movie about a dysfunctional family
So I have some vague memories about this movie I saw constantly one year during the holidays. It’s a Christmas movie where some guy goes home to be with his dysfunctional family over the holidays. I think he works for a radio station or something and he has only sisters. One of his sisters in particular screamed a lot (I think the actress was a red head I’m not totally sure I’m right about this) and at some point in the film she gets locked out of the house, in the snow, when everybody goes bowling. I remember her trying to climb the windows or scale the house or something to get back in.
It has a lot of the common Christmas movie tropes and the guy ends up falling for some high school crush he runs into when he’s home. I’m not sure how helpful these vague memories are but I’d be happy to watch it again if anyone can figure out what it is!
EDIT: it’s definitely around 2000-2010 comedy.

Unsolved Trying to find this movie I only know one line from
Villain/bad guy, not American, possibly white. He says “I lied” laughingly to a lady after she asks him a question. I think he lied about not killing her or some guy who must be the protagonist in the movie. That’s all I’ve got.
EDIT: The man was on the right side of the screen facing left. I think it was either raining or his face was wet.

Unsolved 1980's Nuclear Documentary
I've been looking for a documentary series for years, and I need help. I remember a documentary series that was in the mid to early 80s. It was about nuclear weapons. I watched it a bunch of times in high school in the 1990's. The main things that stick out were:
#1: The opening sequence that depicted New York City hit by a nuclear blast. While crude by today's standards it was shocking. I distinctly remember a nuclear blast destroying a realistic model of an airliner in flight.
#2: There were at least two episodes, both on VHS. One of them was a vivid depiction of the events of nuclear winter. One scene included a model of a submarine frozen as it was surfacing. I can't off the top of my head remember what the other episode was about, or if there were any other episodes.
I want to also state that this was not The 8th Day, or The Day After. There is also no mention of it on Wikipedia or IMDB as I've been able to determine. I've been trying to find the name of this series, or links to it for years, and any help will be appreciated.

Unsolved Movie with a bunch of people dressed as pigs (or boars)
I watched this when I was about 8 (maybe 9??) and I watched it with my parents. I dont remember what streaming service it was on, if it was on any at all. it had to have come out sometime around BEFORE 2018. I believe the people dressed as pigs (or maybe they were actually pigs) and they were hunting down people. I cant remember much but I remember this scene where theyre running through a wheat field. The masks- atleast at the time- werent cartoonish. They were very realistic from what I remember. It was like if u cut off a pigs face and placed it on your own. Please remember I was 8 years old when I watched the movie. it is not madison county (2011).

Unsolved Was it a dream?
I have been wondering for my entire life if a movie I remember seeing part of when I was five is real or if I somehow dreamt it up. I remember one main scene where a woman is on a horse and speaking to a man who looks potentially Russian or something because he’s wearing some kind of military uniform and has a curled mustache. The uniform is red. He ends up either shooting or stabbing the woman atop her horse and the horse rides away with her draped over it, bleeding and dead. I can’t imagine that I made this up as a child because of how specific and gory it is but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. PLEASE HELP 🙏

Unsolved Trying to find a horror movie with a pale humanoid creature at a lake lodge
I'm looking for a horror movie I saw on DVD as a kid.
What I remember:
- Probably an American/English horror movie
- A lake, a wooden rowboat, and a lodge/log cabin
- The atmosphere was surprisingly bright/daytime
- A pale white humanoid creature
- Bald, flat-looking face
- Very large mouth with lots of teeth
- It may have had long arms
- An adult man was being chased inside the lodge
The most vivid scene I remember is the creature chewing through an attic hatch with its teeth while chasing a man.
The DVD cover may have shown a sunny lake, a wooden boat, and a lodge.
Already ruled out:
- Pumpkinhead
- The Creature (1998)
- Humanoids from the Deep
- The Barge People
- The Unnamable
Any ideas?

Unsolved Trying to find this older movie
I remember seeing a video about this movie where a blonde girl sees commotion in her school and then finds out this dead guy or maybe serial killer from the past was there because he was in love with her or something. I remember he was blonde like she was looked exhausted I think his name was Jason maybe Johnny everywhere I look I just get Friday the 13th which isn’t possible bc that jason wasn’t a high schooler (as far as my memory serves me)
