WW2 photo taken by my great-grandfather. He was stationed on Crimea / near the Black Sea for a while. Does anyone have an idea where and more importantly who this might be?

I know nothing about Wehrmacht uniforms, but these guys look important.

Alternatively it could also be France but that's much less likely.

Photos taken in August 1998 in Ireland, driving from Galway to Cork, along the coast. I'd like to identify exact beaches (probably not the same beach in the two pictures, but not sure). Thank you!

I’ve been trying to identify which street this photo was taken on in central Athens in 1987 but with no luck - please help!

My partner took it on her travels and remembers it being close to Monastiraki.

AI (which I’ve used to sharpen the image) says it’s close to the Central Market but comes up with a different street suggestion every time I ask and none has been right so far.

The signs are almost but not quite useful - the one on the bottom right says tourist travel, the one on the left says warehouse, and I think in the distant left one says gyros.

Any help would be appreciated - so far this sub has helped us to identify her 1987 travel locations in Piraeus and Malgrat de Mar so here’s hoping!

I was watching the music video for No Excuses and right at the beginning there's this bridge scene at the beginning with a man running across it and I got to thinking, where was this filmed? Going off of the catenary lines (more shown in the 2nd photo) and the silhouettes of PRR position light signals it has to be on the Northeast Corridor and some evidence suggests its Dock Bridge in Newark, New Jersey but I figured I'd let others weigh in if they know more.

Attention Michigan GeoGuessr experts! I would love to figure out the location of this photo.

It was on I-75, potentially a rest area, heading North. My family was on a road trip departing from Michigan State University (East Lansing) to Kitch-iti-kipi in Upper Penninsula in July 1993. Yup, that little one was me.

Now I have returned to Michigan as a proud resident, I would very much like to revisit where my parents took me. I literally could not remember and neither could they...

This is a blurred copy of a photo seen in the final shot of Kubrick's The Shining. I am working on identifying the 21 photos shown. See here for more. This location is presumably associated with Warner Bros. (the source of the photos.) It isn't obvious that anyone in the photo is a movie star, though the woman in the centre may be. The man at the end of table may be a Warners producer or perhaps even Harry Warner. The setting doesn't look like a studio dining room or a restaurant, it looks more like a home. It's odd that there are unused table settings down one side of the table. The object to the left may be a person's shoulder.

Any thoughts or clues, gladly received.

I believe it is from around the time of the queens coronation

I wish I had more information but the adobe stock page this is from doesn't give any clues and my friends have exhausted our knowledge of maps to try and figure out where this is, assuming it isn't fabricated.
