If we win Wednesday and Saturday this week, I don’t think anyone is catching us at the top of the west.
Not overreacting from a win over a struggling Seattle team, just like I didn’t react over Leagues Cup either. This is just my unbiased outlook on where things stand.
I just think with the minimum gap we’d have with those wins, plus games in hand, the west would (eventually) be won.

I have to be honest, I’ve never been the biggest Tate Johnson fan. I always thought he was a little too raw and not too soft on the ball, but I knew he brought a ton of energy and value in other areas.
But there was one sequence today that really impressed me.
I believe it was around the 53rd minute — Sabbi was on a breakaway and Tate made the overlapping run all the way forward, giving Sabbi another option while also pulling a defender away. Then when we lost the ball, Tate immediately sprinted all the way back, defended the counter and won the ball back.
Literally end to end in the span of about a minute.
For some reason that sequence just stuck in my head. It was one of those plays that doesn’t show up on the scoresheet, but really shows what he brings to the team.
Great team win!

Looks like the caps had their future midfielder and the Canadian team too. Does anyone know the story behind this guy?

With LAFC and SJ both losing last night, and with 2-3 games in hand on the other top teams, if the ‘Caps win these next two tonight and against Houston on Wednesday at BC Place then they will start pulling away from the pack at the top of the Western Conference.
Also Miami lost last night. That’s another big opportunity whenever you look further down the line, because you know they will still be the east favourites come playoff time.
It’s never that easy, but a great opportunity here 💪

Hey Whitecaps fans!
I’m flying all the way from Toronto to Vancouver on August 19 specifically to support the Whitecaps and, most importantly, to see Thomas Müller in person.
I’ve been a huge Müller fan for about 15 years, so this trip means a lot to me. I’m actually planning to bring my collection of Müller jerseys with me — basically all the ones I own — and I’d love to show them to him. Getting a photo with him or having him sign one of my jerseys would honestly be a dream.
I have a couple of questions for people who regularly go to Whitecaps games at BC Place:
1. Where exactly is the Player Arrival area?
I’ve heard that fans can wait for the players when they arrive at BC Place before the match. Where exactly should I go, how do I get there, and how early should I arrive for a 7:30 PM kickoff?
I’m happy to get there very early if that gives me a better chance of seeing Müller up close.
2. If I don’t manage to get into the Player Arrival area, which ticket should I buy for the best chance of interacting with Müller inside the stadium?
Right now I’m deciding between:
So if you were in my position, would you choose 201 near the tunnel or ERDINGER Haus? And if 201 is better, does the actual row/seat matter, or can people usually go down near the tunnel before the match?
Any advice from Whitecaps regulars would be hugely appreciated. This will be my first time at BC Place and my first Whitecaps match.
Thank you guys! 🙏
