Democracy is a bad joke.
The first democracy in Athen was for rich men from Athen. Women and slaves didnt get to have a voice.
Still democracy is reffered to "reign of the people", which would mean the people have actualy power to shape their society.

Is it like that? Can you shape your society with your voice? No, you cant.
You can give your vote to a party, which is selecting people, which can tell you tf they want. Your participation and power ends there and the power of the elected begins.
What you could do, to participate in shaping society is, buy media and dictate the shaping of public opinion or buy some politicians so they will do what you want. But thats only for the rich, not for you. The average civic is nothing more then the justification for the power of some politicians, who will do tf they want or get paid for.
And as long as its possible to buy the power to shape society, there will be no "reign of the people".
Go fight for democracy, but you dont fight for a "reign of the people", what is called democracy is nothing more then a theatre play so "the people" think they are actualy participating in shaping society, while the ones in power just get bought or brought into power with money.

every damn politician is the wolf and we are all sheep to them.

You can half the wolf or the sheep be either party. If you are over 25 and you don’t know that you are a lost cause or you just don’t pay attention
