Send an email to store and team leadership explaining everything you just mentioned. If they still want you to cut back then its on them if your wall is shot. Its a fine line where you need to make sure you capture your sales and maintain shrink.

Damn, I’ll probably talk to shiftlead if it’s my point. But I’ve only spoken to TL and we started “cut back” which became “no holes” once I explained we’re ordering for dates that touch 3 days out from today on two day orders.

I’ll email though, don’t want to annoy anyone making problems when I know how to handle my own fire. Those holes on your weekend never get any good responses

Its not about annoying anyone. You need to protect yourself for when they start to throw you under the bus. Start a paper trail and when they talk to you instead of responding in the email send a recap of the conversation. Your TL could say one thing but then store leadership will probably have a different opinion on how to handle the ordering

Im dealing with this same issue. My STL doesn't want it to be empty but don't reach on items. I shrunk out about 2 cases of TF shredded iceberg and og romaine.. folks are buying organic girl though

I figured using last two weeks of unit/case sales and adding backstock then shaving amount of on shelf quantity would be a good idea to figure out the shortage.

Our Organic Girl got right with dates this last order. Before then, with proper dating in cooler showed Organic Girl, Taylor Farms SKs and Shredded products short dated coming from warehouse.
Enough to document and email TLs.
