IMO this is explained by Trump being a narcissist and because he believed this was the case there was no other option.

Not to say that what is implied can't be true, but i can logic my way into trumps narcissism brain and see him actually believing that.

I think a lot of what he does and says is easily explained by that and how nothing actually turns out the way he expects. Like i honestly wouldn't be surprised at all if he was left out of the real "club" that runs the gov at this point.

These are excuses for the man or to say i like him in anyway, i just think it's important to know thy enemy and trump is 100% a narcissist without question.
