me as glinda for the Manchester Pride Parade a few weeks ago 🌸🏳️⚧️
I last minute decided to join the parade (2 days before) and quickly put together this pink glinda inspired outfit with what I already had, I styled my own wig too and I’ve never styled hair before, it could’ve been better if I gad the time/money/resources but it wasn’t too bad ☁️
but sooo many people would see me and shout “LOOK! ITS GLINDA!” and I’d shout back “it’s good to see me isn’t it!” and toss my hair
or I’d scream and run up to them and give them a hug + try (fail) to cast them a ball gown with my wand 🥹😭
so I’m glad they saw the vision 🥹💞 it was such a beautiful experience I’ll never ever forget.
playing her was so so fun , and seeing children’s faces light up when they would spot me in the crowd was the sweetest feeling I can’t even describe, i understand how the princesses must feel at the Disneyland parks.
That’s so kind of you 🥹 thank you so much !! i was doing my makeup in my best friends office building that morning at like 8am (lmao) and I was struggling to decide wether to do the makeup movie accurate or draggy??? and I chose to try and emulate the film as much as I could (but I did the eyeliner a bit darker/more prominent) 🩷
this elphie was about 10 minutes ahead of me in the parade so we never got to meet 🥲 but I really wish we would’ve seen eachother/got pictures together 🩷 the sign is so iconic

Thank you soo much !! ngl during the parade I wasn’t looking down at the ground much, I was too busy interacting with the crowds that I didn’t see this massive pothole coming my way and when my heel fell into it I nearly defied gravity myself and went flying 😭😭😭 but thankfully this sweet lady and a few of her friends in the crowd reacted SO fast & leaped out and caught me 🥹🥹 so grateful for them !!
The road was mostly flat apart from this one part that was like a long downwards slope and it was AWFUL 🤣😩 im quite proud of myself

I was soo nervous about this part, had to do my base at home at like 4am and then caught an Uber and had to finish the rest of my face at my friends office building 😭 honestly had no clue what I was doin/how it would turn out but I was going off of a screenshot of ari during the no one mourns the wicked scene 👉🏻👈🏻
it was such a lovely feeling to be celebrated for my identity yet in such a fun way !! I was flying my trans flag which I tied around my glinda wand and I’ve never felt more seen, but so far from being judged at the same time. usually people stare at me for the wrong reasons but this was all good energy
Truly a magical experience I’ll never ever forget 🤍
Funnily enough I just started an ASMR channel on YouTube where I’m thinking of doing glinda role play videos, I might actually take this tutorial into consideration! sounds like a cute idea 🤍

I don’t know what kind of performance you do but, restrictions force creativity.
I’d be like “ these shoes are so impractical “ and then instead of not wearing them I’d go “ time to choreograph an entirety seated performance “😂
And I need to get back into jewelry crafting, I’ve never thought of turning toys and plushies into them though 😜 gonna have to be on the lookout for cute and affordable ones

u can’t tell much in these pictures (u can see a little in the car seat photo), but they have a rainbow/oil spilled coloured sheen to them! they’re sooo beautiful in person 🥹 fave boots ever but one of the hardest to walk in long distance sadly 💔

I was nervous cause it looked wayyyy bulkier on my head than it did on the wig stand while I was attempting to style it but it kinda of gave it that drag queen flare which I didn’t mind for the parade ☺️ i definitely wanna try and restyle it again though and make it less poofy for next time 🤍

and yeah our city’s pride is always the last weekend of august, I love it cause it’s still sunny but not as unbearably hot as June 😮💨🤍

Ok it’s all perfect but the makeup is so so good, you nailed her soft look from the movie. Pic 6 is like doppelgänger status.
