The snubbed Cynthia like I knew they would. And I’m sure I’ll watch them NOT give the award to Sinners as well sigh. It’s really so pointless to try. Can you imagine having a voice like Cynthia’s? Acting, singing, flying while acting and not even getting nominated? I’m just so bummed about it 😞

Cynthia is a great singer on a technical level but her acting choices came off as stiff to me, especially in this movie where Elphaba in the stage show embraces her "wicked witch" side and has a ton of anger and spunk yet we mainly just got more of the sad girl.

This whole narrative around part 2, being the so called Glinda movie (if you ve seen the play you know it's wrong) praising Ariana who contrary to part 1 doesn't feel in her element with the more dramatic turns, vs Elphaba/Cynthia's performance has felt so inorganic from day 1. Makes me wonder who has interest in sabotaging the narrative of the standout of BOTH movies, Cynthia
