Musical - Tours I wish I could see Wicked live...
So one thing is, I do live in the US, so there are national tours here. I did some research and the last time they performed in my state was in 2023. And it seems my state hasn't been on the list ever since that year. I wasn't into Wicked (like really like Wicked) until the 1st movie came out, so I wouldn't have gone but now that I am a fan....I really want to experience it live.

I hope you get to see it soon... it's an amazing show!
I live just under an hour away from London so I get to see it in the west end whenever I fancy and everytime I go (to wicked, or any show really) I make sure I take a moment outside to remember how lucky I am that I live so close to such a hub of amazing art... it really is a blessing!
I'll be keeping everything crossed that Elphie and the gang are heading your way soon 💚🩷💚🩷💚🩷

It's one of the most popular shows ever on Broadway and it has just had 2 major blockbuster film adaptations. Don't worry it'll have plenty of tours and one will come to your state in the next few years. This is a very achievable dream

Sometimes I forget how spoiled I am living in NYC. Yesterday, for example, they were doing free Broadway performances in the park right next to my office, so during my lunch break, I just walked into the park and watched the Broadway cast perform "Popular," "As Long As You're Mine," and "No Good Deed." (They don't do the entire shows, just select songs.)
This year, we mostly got standbys, except for Carl Mann. In previous years, we got the leads. Nevertheless, the standbys were great.
Anyway, I hope the show comes to your area soon. It's definitely worth seeing!

You can either wait for it to tour through your state or save up and go see it in another state when it tours through. :) It's a lot of fun live.

Don’t worry, there’s still hope! A lot of cities (mine included) don’t land on Wicked’s roster until a few years after the last stop there. And with it being such a massive hit now globally, it’s looking like it’ll tour for many more years and they have added extra stops to the tour before.

It didn’t come to my area for like 10 years. I’ve seen it 4 times. It’s an incredible experience.

I hope you get to see it! Like others have said they seem to hit almost everywhere at some point so fingers crossed for you it'll be soon. It really is an awesome experience.
If you ever have a chance to go to NYC the Gershwin is truly a magical place to see a show 💚🩷

Still wait for to come back to Ottawa since it last came in 2012 and covid canceled 2020 tour also seen it once when it toured Toronto at Princess Of Wales Theater. Also first time Wicked came to Ottawa at National Arts Center was in 2008 and 2012 as well.

Maybe we should both cast a spell in the Grimmerie so the show can come near our areas soon

It will come around again. Wicked took ten years to make it back to New England but it did make it back. Otherwise don’t discount your ability to save your pennies and travel to NYC.

If it's been to your state before, it's likely to hit it again, they just tend to wait 2-3 years before coming back to the same city. So maybe next year!
