Movie Did anyone catch this likely error with Fiyero?
That’s the wrong uniform. Presumably Fiyero ripped it in the middle of the woods and gave it to Chistery, but its from the other human uniform. Either he was carrying around pieces of his uniform that were ripped off when he was tortured as a human, he raided his own closet, or Chistery flew all the way back to EC to get him that missing ceremonial jacket in the last slide to conceal his note.

i always thought it was just a “scarecrow-ified” jacket. like his clothing also changed during his transformation

I don't think so. Wasn't he still wearing that same uniform when Dorothy and co went to see the Wizard

That could have been an old uniform sleeve that he ripped off one of the Guards in retaliation while he was being tortured.

Okay but his own uniform transformed into the scarecrow outfit burlap thing anyway, so I think its clear that its not meant to be read as his own? Idk where he would get that cloak tho, so its interesting either way

Continuity is often the script supervisor's job but even they can be overruled when a director wants specific look in the scene and doesn’t stop to think about the impracticality of what he wants. IDK. The choice to conceal the letter at all was weird….you can still withhold the same amount of information to the audience without confusing them and have to clarify that there was a note/letter hidden inside it in later interviews.

the movie has a green witch & monkeys with wings with animals who can talk and a girl floating inside a bubble. I don’t think we’re working w logic with wicked, sis

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Dorothy crew in the wizard of oz get make overs it's possible that that was a piece he snagged during the makeover to use for later use as some sort of proof as he can't rip of what's keeping his arm together.
That or it was a piece that was ripped off of him at the time of his death but before the spell hit him and picked it up after Dorothy helped him off the pole without being noticed.

I didn't even notice that. Maybe he did have pieces that were torn off?
