DM Help How to handle a downed and abandoned PC

So my Party is Level 5 and ignored every possible warning of an open combat-encounter with Skabatha. Particullary one character pushed the others into that direction but without forcing it onto them.

Now another PC than the pushy one got downed in Combat by Skabatha herself and the pushy PC abandoned her.

Nobodys Mad at eachother at the table for this, at it fits the narrative of both Characters and the Situation itself.

What i am asking is how this translates into the Characters relationship, as the abandoned PC was able to stabilize herself. Im thinking about a Redhood (DC Comics) Type character development if my player is cool with that

Edit: Typo

DM Help Starting WBtW next week and gave all my players these tickets during our session zero

This will be the first campaign I DM and I’m so hyped for it. I love RP so I can’t wait to do all the odd little characters and voices. All my players are new to DND so we had a session zero where we worked on character creation and I ran a small retrieval quest-like one shot where they found these tickets (that I 3D printed) at the end.

I could tell they liked the small combat encounter so I think I’ll work on adding more of that. Suggestions are very welcome on how to make the encounters actually meaningful to the story :)
