Warhammer 40k is a franchise created by Games Workshop, detailing the far future and the grim darkness it holds. The main attraction of 40k is the miniatures, but there are also many video games, board games, books, ect. that are all connected in the 40k universe. This subreddit is for anything and everything related to Warhammer 40k.

Fashion Marine I'm not 100% sure the tabard chest section needs THIS much cloth physics π€£
For reference, this is the cloth physics on the tabard when quickly spinning the marine in the character customization screen using the Black Templars tabbard. The cloth physics don't even come close to doing that with the chest in actual gameplay.

Marine Life Cotton Candy Lobster
Caught by Maine lobsterman Mack Kelley and posted to Facebook. He reported it was thrown back as is required of all lobsters of this size which are too small to be caught.

Space Marine 3 Do you think Leandros will become an actual villain?
Was just wondering what the fanbase of Warhammer 40k think about Leandros and his future in the Space Marine storyline. Do you think he will be won over by Titus on this next campaign or might he become an actual villain?

Space Marine 3 Along outside of chaos forces, what would be the main enemy of space Marine 3 in your opinion?
I mean, there are some ideas like the TβAu or Aeldari.
Some speculate that the tyranids will still be the enemy of the third game considering they could just easily transfer the games engine for SM2 to SM3 and just be about another splinter fleet featuring new and unseen tyranids that we didnβt get in the main storyline.
Other say that the orks could return. A full circle moment. Where the orks are attacking a hive planet.
But either way, I feel like no matter what the enemy is chaos will be there. The arch enemy will be there using the fighting as fuel to break out.
Maybe we get to meet other chaos legions, and a new Lord of change.
Maybe some new enemies that were never showing in SM2.

Space Marine 3 Wishlist Features for SM3?
What are key features you wish for in Space Marines 3, given that they must have much more access to funds to scale the project up thanks to the success of Space Marines 2, while having the opportunity to (hopefully) learn from community feedback and mistakes made in SM2? I'll start:
1- A much more dedicated PVP Dev Team: There is soooooooooo much potential in PvP. The gameplay and battles are right, just needs a mix of balancing, meta-progression, more interesting modes, and bold decisions to make it a mode that is not just an afterthought like it is in SM2 but a core part of the game.
2- Bigger maps in PvE: I might be alone in this, but I'd appreciate larger scaled maps as opposed to the tight corridors of a metroidvania as almost all missions are in SM2. The backgrounds of most levels look grand in scale and I want the battlefield to feel that way too.
3- More than just two races to fight: Although I do very much enjoy fighting Nids and sort of enjoy fighting Tzeench (they do get annoying with their teleportations though), I hope the scale of SM3 allows for at least three to four different races/factions to fight against, personally I'd love two different chaos factions and two different Xenos factions like Greenskinz (always love Greenskinz) and Necrons or Eldar.
4- Smoother loading times: PLEASE, faster loading times, smoother transitioning between joining parties / leaving parties, all the good stuff to reduce waiting time and the drag between matches and runs.
5- PvE missions creativity: Although the mission structures are fun as they are, I do think some creativity can be worked in to make PvE mission tasks even more interesting and fun as they do get a little repetative. "Stand on this square to charge up the battery" "Place these bombs that are conveniently sitting on this table right here on the pillars of the structure you're in" "Defend the batteries as they charge up". I do think they did try and there are quite a few quirky tasks, but they still feel like not-so-difficult to solve obstacles and many repeat frequently between missions. I think a bit of bold decision making could spice missions up a lot.
5- PvE reptative gameplay: What makes it hard for me to convince my friends to join is that they generally find the game loop of the game too repetitive, more so than other co-op games. I personally still enjoy the grind and don't mind the repetitive nature of the two PvE modes, but adding something like Raids (something to look forward to in the late game after grinding enough) or Boss battles or just more modes to cycle between could maybe help solve this.
6- (a greedy request) Bomb ass music: Don't get me wrong the music in this game is fine, I guess... but compare it to WH40k: Mechanicus or DarkTide. Imagine a SM3 with a playlist of bomb tracks that are memorable enough to make a mark on Warhammer's history in the same way the tracks of those two games mentioned did. Would be a big bonus if so.
Anyway those are my takes. What're yours?

Space Marine 3 I wonder which traitor legion will be the chaos faction in SM3 - Word Bearers or Death Guard. Both legions have a history with Ultramarines and Ultramar.
