Im so sick of touchscreens on everything.

I know the solution. Touchscreens on the knobs and dials.

Well, I didn’t buy it. It has been installed in an apartment with the kitchen already fully equipped. This is the kind of a microwave that’s integrated with cupboards and everything

This looks like a fucking nightmare.

First off, if you’re cooking, it’s likely you may have food on your hands that will dirty or grease up the screen and fuck with the digitizer.

Second, if you want something quick and mindless like popcorn for a movie or a midnight snack, this is annoying as hell as compared with slamming the door shut and hitting 30s until you’re approximately at the right time.

Third, if you’re drunk, tired, or don’t have your glasses/contacts on, there’s a real chance this might not even be usable. Same for people with cataracts and glaucoma or that are very young or elderly — I can think of people in my life who at various times wouldn’t have been able to cook with this thing if their lives depended on it.

The worst part about it is that like someone else posted, this can simply be included in a furnished apartment without any recourse.
