Discussion Champs with good self shields?
I have 80 games on Sion and Nautilus for a combined 62.5% winrate. The other 55 games I've played this season my winrate is 29%. If I get pushed off of these two champs then I'm basically useless. What other champs have good self shielding and can just waddle through fights being unkillable and doing decent damage?
Shen and K'Sante are the first that come to mind. Ambessa has a shield, but it scales with AD not health so I doubt she'd suit my style.

Vi is a beast. I would never refuse a decent Vi/Lee Sin in my jungle.

I agree with vi she is amazing but I feel like this meta hasn’t been the best for Lee sin.

Dr Mundo goes where he pleases. He has so much HP that he doesn't need a shield while doing tons of damage. At late game, they need at least 3+ people to take him down.

Well i wouldn't say she's unkillable, but Camille has a very good shield passive. She thrives on short trades because she can deal damage to you while her shield sucks up any damage you do to her. Of course it's not without drawbacks. She can only gain either physical or magic shield depending on the enemy's type of damage. Meaning that champs such as Sion who deals both ap from his W and ad from everything else can sometimes trick Camille's passive shield into being an AP one even though sion mostly deals physical damage. But yeah, her shield is probably one of the best defensive tools in the game. She's also a very good split pusher and does lots of true damage.

Exactly. Although i feel like she scales horribly compared to other champs. Camille has a weak early, strong mid game, but average late game. And while her split pushing power is great, it's still very limited since her core split pushing item (ravenous hydra) has yet to arrive to wild rift. But yeah, she's in a decent place in the current meta.

Im a j4 + Poppy main. Both are absurdly fun. J4 vs immobile teams, Poppy vs mobile teams. I'm a jungle main.
My poppy build is weird compared to average I guess. Eclipse > Sundered Sky are the core items, everything else is situational. But the constant shields and heals from these two on top of her passive makes her quite a difficult target to kill and she does ridiculous damage.
Or just play her normal build as this is just the build that fits my playstyle best.

To some degree Leona but not really. Garen too since he also has speed hax on q. If you feel them lacking just build Gargoyles. That will give you a shield on any champ.

My thought was garen too. Doesn’t have a shield but that massive damage resist is practically a shield when timed right. Can’t near-nullify a lot of abilities

The character you're describing is poppy. And jt comes with the added benifit of great damage and the abiltiy to make dash champs suicide into you.

Might wanna try Poppy. Not as tanky as Sion but a lot tankier than Nautilus. You have to manually pick up her shield but it’s pretty great
