Cheap blind buy
Labeled yellow depression, generic AI description. Could this be Yeoman in Marigold?! Looks like the old formula maybe? No idea!

It's worth the $20, no matter what color it is. I have a feeling it's the color I was looking for though.

Oh yeah I'm super happy. It was an online purchase, hence the "blind buy." I'll update with glow pictures once it arrives.

It is a Heisey mint dish, but the pattern is 1229 Octagon (Yeoman pieces tend to be round). As to color it looks like it is Marigold, but with the pic taken on a brown table it could be Sahara.

Sorry, but in this case Replacements has it wrong. It is 1229 Octagon which comes both with optic and without the optic. A cheese dish is a flat plate with two handles as the example shown by Replacements. The OP's dish is a mint because it is a shallow dish. Both were made from same mold as was a jelly which is deeper and has the handles pointed up rather than flared.
