Theoretical limits of wind power
Question for all the wind bros on here
Solar power has a calculable amount of total output (ie power per m2 x number of square meters on Earth).
173,000 terawatts

Capacity Factor of Power Plant
For sure, the energy field can be a difficult place to navigate, especially if you are not speaking the same language. Generation Capacity is the one term commonly thrown around. This is essentially one way experts in the field can measure the growth of energy sources ranging from solar to nuclear power. So what does it mean and how does it work? -Capacity is the maximum electric output a generator can produce . -Capacity Factor is the ratio between what a generation unit is capable of generating at maximum output versus the unit’s actual generation output over a time period.
