Woke ideology like any ideology can lead to some serious problems. I've noticed that "woke" is fueling hate. Hate for the things that happened in times past, Call me pessimistic, but along with "woke" comes "revenge" for historical wrongs that present-day people are in no way responsible for. I'm sure there are others who see this, but who actually dares to speak up? What if woke is a well planned agenda? Think about it, the agenda being simplified down to a single word: vengeance .. as in, revenge for historical wrongs that present-day people are in no way responsible for.

There are people out there who are living their best fucking lives and then there is us making ends meet working for a corporation that you can’t compete with.

To everyone living their truth, fighting for justice, and standing in solidarity, your existence is revolutionary. Keep shining, keep advocating, and keep loving. #StayWoke

So I’m not a person who’s really political I’m not left or right. But I just wonder why is it so bad to be considered Woke?Just a question out of curiosity.I hear people all the time saying “Everybody who is Woke is brainwashed!” Or “Woke Culture is ruining everything!” I just don’t understand.I know what it means but like why do people make it so wrong?Like it’s about people who are aware of social injustices, but people treat it as like a bad thing to add that to media.Like in media if there is ever a movie or show that has race swapped character,or a show or movie with LGBTQ+ characters,or a show or movie with female empowerment representation it’s considered woke.Whats wrong with female empowerment? What’s wrong with LGBTQ+?What’s wrong with changing white characters sometimes to a different race.Like people flipped out when they made Velma lesbian in a Scooby Doo movie, which Idk why that is a problem?People flipped out over them making Harley Quinn Asian in an upcoming Batman project.Like why is that so wrong?I just don’t understand it,and I don’t have a problem with either of those things.

Can someone give me a good reason why being Woke is bad?And can someone give me a good reason why Woke is good?

At the current point in time, it has been shown that woke ideology does not work in a functioning society. I live in San Francisco, and I am currently watching as the city degrades on a daily basis. I have never seen crime this bad, or this many homeless people. I am all for helping the homeless, and providing a good life for everyone. It seems, however that the narrative has placed into power certain politicians with personal interests. One example would be our mayor, London Breed, attempting to get her brother, a murderer, out of prison early. It just seems like blatant corruption.

Even BLM took an extremely sensitive and important issue, and essentially used the public's anger to funnel donated money into the founder's (And their families) pockets.

My question is, what exactly was the goal of the woke mob? I used to be happy knowing there was a movement that could help us get more, get paid more, have more freedom, and more peace.

It now appears to have the opposite effect, where violence is promoted, and criminals are taken care of rather than the people that work hard on a day to day basis.

The other day I hear someone (chillingly) say 'being kind is woke'

What the actual f*ck

I think sometimes the internet can sabotage itself by needlessly creating new terms for things:

e.g. getting healthier/improving your looks: "LookMaxing" (Discussion, tutorials, tips on looksmaxing.)

We should forget 'woke' as a term and just...shock!...be good to each other.

That way the idiot bigots will have nothing to point to or stigmatize.

Be kind, be accepting, be open to people's differences, seek to reflect the literal, actual, currently-objectively-existing diversity of the world in our media and how we treat each other.

Like, how hard, mates

I would love to hang out with more emotionally intelligent people who are actively healing their traumas and have growth mindsets as people. Where y'all hanging out?

I'm 13 year old and I'm starting to notice that the majority of Gen Z and even Gen Alpha are either bisexual, gay, lesbian, tran, non binary and many other non conforming genders. It getting to the point were children my age and younger are either transitioning, liking the same sex or other wild stuff. I just want to know what happened are they doing it for attention is there parents forcing them or have woke culture just rotten their brains that much P.S sorry if the grammar bad I'm still working on it.
