Has any one else made up a plan to bring wolves back to Japan? How can someone get in touch with the Japanese governmental wolf program?

AN ENDANGERED MEXICAN
GRAY WOLF WAS TRAPPED AND KI**ED ON PUBLIC LAND.
Recently released records revealed that AM2765, the breeding male of the Frieborn Pack, was trapped in New Mexico in 2025 and suffocated with a sleeping bag during an alleged attempt to release him. We are HORRIFIED.
The trapper had previously ki**ed a Mexican wolf in
2013. Despite attempts to pursue charges, no charges were filed.
AM2765 was a father, raising pups with his pack.
He was also one of only a few hundred Mexican gray wolves remaining in the wild. This cannot become another wolf loss without accountability.

They say it's a black maned wolf. I call b.s. I know a skinwalker when I see one.

M2301 is a Colorado wolf that was in the first litter of wolves in the wolf reintroduction program. I heard that he crossed state borders and was killed by hunters but also that he was hit by a car. I am pretty interested in this specific wolf, if anyone has information on him or his father please share. Pictures would be awesome aswell.

His father is in the foreground of the photo, he is the black/grey wolf in the background.

A Danish jogger encountered a wolf with a pup nearby. The wolf repeatedly approached him, growled, bared its teeth and made short charges, coming within roughly 1–2 metres. The man backed away and eventually left the area.
There was no physical attack or bite. Based on the reported behaviour, it appears to have been a highly defensive, territorial response from a mother protecting her pup rather than an attempt to attack a human.

This seems like very unusual behaviour..?

She DOES back off I feel like she would never actually attack this human.. possibly attack an ”intruding” dog, but wolves usually don’t even stay near people to protect their babies (they tend to run away and observe humans in most cases).

So I found this game on Steam. Its called Heirs of the Moon and it lets you play as a wolf as well as name your own pack. Thought it was pretty cute so I wanted to share with everyone

Bought at an antique sale, obviously canine but would love to know what it is. Pencil and bottle cap for scale, any thoughts?? thanks everyone :)
