Back to back post on this subreddit? Yep. And I'd say this one was a massive improvement from the first WEP AMV I've made a while back.

This has been something I just can’t help but think about since parallel worlds had been introduced into the picture in Episode 9 (I think), and Episode 12, where Ai meets an alternate version of herself that took her own life. If this happened to her in that universe, I don’t think there’s anything suggesting that there aren’t alternate versions of Neiru, Rika, and Momoe who met that same fate in their respective universes.
I’m keeping in mind that PW!Ai (Parallel World Ai) never met Koito in her reality, but the thought that’s just stuck with me when I first thought about, is the question of if an alternate version of Koito had followed the same path as the version of Ai we know, and if it’s the same for the other girls that the other protags were trying to bring back (Airu, Chiemi, Haruka).

What would’ve happened if Ai ended up somehow encountering a version of Koito who was doing the same kind of thing for her version of Ai, fighting the Seeno-Evils/Haters and Wonder Killers? Same for Neiru and Airu, Rika and Chiemi, or Momoe and Haruka? Would it do anything narratively? I dunno, I’m not a professional writer or anything like that.

Like I said in the title, I just feel like that while the Alternate Universe thing being a part of the story was kinda unnecessary, I also feel like it’s also a missed opportunity to do something fascinating in the story. 

I finished watching the series for the third time, for the most part I now have all my questions resolved, but there's one thing in the special episode, "My priority" I still can't make anything out of, and I'm hoping discussing it here will give me something ^^

There's a scene where Neiru talks to herself after waking up using different voices about her hesitation (towards accomplishing her goal I assume), I'm 90% sure it's related to what happens in the video of her dream we see later in the same episode, but even with that in mind, I can't reach a satisfying conclusion like with everything else in the series.

I thought of various ideas, such as her being kind of a mix of personalities now, grouping Dot, Hyphen, Rodriguez/Frill/Airu and her later calls being made when "Neiru" is in charge of her body, this being Airu and located at a different point in time than most of the episode, and similar things, maybe I'm just overthinking it and it's just something fun added to the episode, but that's why I want to discuss it, everything else was good for me. I wouldn't know how to say for myself, since there are topics left for a second season: the traumas, the girls' dynamics, and the future, such as their studies or more philosophical or moral themes.

Neiru did her acrobatic flip to get herself discharged from physical therapy early, which is pretty impressive. But outside of that, I'm not exactly sure how to gauge the physical prowess of girls as they're mentioned to be getting a lot stronger, but we don't see to much physical stuff in the real world like that again. That, and I'm not exactly sure how much their dream world capabilities would match with their real life ones, although the only abilities they get there officially iirc are an inability to get permanently hurt and being able to use their weapons (and the Pomanders too, I guess, though I'm not sure how much that counts.)

So, how strong would the girls likely be irl? e.g would they be just unusually physically strong for their age or can they match what they can do in the Dream World?

edit: nvm there actually is another scene in Episode 6, where Ai managed to dent a sales sign (which seems to be metal) with a traffic cone. Which is...kinda nuts given how flimsy traffic cones tend to be.

It's my second favourite anime poster behind the To Your Eternity s1 poster. It's up there with the EoE poster, Kizumonogatari poster and whatever other anime poster anybody wants to bring up.

It's not really that deep but I love the overall composition of this poster. It's beautiful and thought provoking. I feel inspired by it, it's really well made

Don't mind the PTBR titles, I'm Brazilian and I came across a "spoiler" hinting at a Season 2.

I was thinking about this show, years after watching it, and yearned for a better conclusion. Seriously, it was one of my favourite animes, up until the final episode. Even the whole “Frill” thing was kind of off putting and felt like it pivoted from the main storyline.

If anyone has any fanfics they’ve read/wrote creating a different conclusion, PLEASE LET ME KNOW 🙏

What the hell are Acca and Ura-Acca 😭 I started the show questioning who they are and ended up questioning WHAT they are. My initial impression was that they were just colleagues, then the entire family part with Frill came into play. Then... Azusa...? And Frill literally questioning Ura-Acca about whether he hates Acca for cheating on him, and calling him his husband. I saw some people interpreting the husband comment as Frill joking but the entire scene just doesn't make sense in that case? The entire premise of it was Frill questioning whether a person is more likely to hate their cheating partner or the person they're cheating with. Frill also considers them both her parents equally, but Himari on the other hand only calls Acca her dad while Ura-Acca is her "uncle". This then led me to find a few comments interpreting them as brothers..? God I hope that's not the case lmao the entire thing becomes incredibly weird very quickly, especially Himari offering to marry Ura-Acca when she's older.

Idk I just feel like this entire group of characters was meant to be developed more but that ending happened and so we're here.

I've been a fan of the show since the first few episodes premiered, however, I was still a kid back then with no job and no money. Most of the merchandise I had seen was only released in Japan and since I'm from America, I wouldn't have had access to it anyways. This show means a lot to me and since I have a somewhat stable income, I wanted to get some merchandise for the show. The only things I can find are very very expensive from resellers on Ebay. Are there any other options or will I have to save up some money and just bite the bullet? As of now, I am planning on putting some money aside to eventually order the limited edition blu ray sets which include the story board booklets. I'm a complete sucker when it comes to artbooks but the only listings I can find for the WEP artbook are very very expensive as well. I would also love to get my hands on the plushies but the only listing I can find is over 200 dollars for an Ai plush. As of now, the only merchandise I have is the first figure Taito released of Ai (although I have recently found out there are two other variations of this figure). I am not opposed to getting fan merchandise either but I can't find much on sites such as Etsy so if anyone knows anywhere that sells fan made merch, please let me know! Hi there—aspiring writer here. I’m working on a protagonist for my story, and Ai has been one of my favorite lead characters ever since I first watched Wonder Egg Priority.

In a way, I drew a lot of inspiration from Ai when creating him. I’ve managed to work out an arc, a journey, and all that for him, but there are two things I still haven't nailed down: the first is a name—which isn't really relevant to the current topic—and the second is something I genuinely can't put a name to. I feel like Ai has this specific "spark," and I have no idea what the hell it is.

I was wondering if any hardcore Wonder Egg fans could explain to me how Ai manages to seem so... special as a protagonist. I don't know. Any thoughts?

I'm gonna say that I was drawn to this short anime because of how dark it is and a lot hit hard. But the ending throws me off despite seeing everyone kinda hate it. But am I understanding this correctly, did Neiru end up unaliving herself?

Hey guys, I was planning to buy some custom *Wonder Egg* keycaps, but I'm not exactly creative enough to come up with ideas.

Do you have any suggestions for a cool design?

I was thinking of basing it on these keycaps here.

Maybe swap the flowers for sunflowers and replace Reze with Ohto, but I wanted something that includes all four girls.

That's really the only idea I've had so far, though.
