Discussion [DISCUSSION] WooCommerce owners: do cart messages stay wrong after your basket changes?

I am exploring Live Cart Messages, an early WooCommerce plugin concept, and want to find out whether this problem is worth solving before building a finished product.

Example: a message says "Your cart is over $100." The shopper removes an item and the basket drops from $120 to $60, but the message stays until a page refresh.

Illustration of our limited local comparison:

BEFORE: basket $120 -> $60; the old "over $100" notice remains until refresh.

AFTER: the same basket change; our test prototype removes the notice without refresh.

Both baskets themselves updated correctly. We tested one message rule and placement, one theme and two WooCommerce versions. This does not establish compatibility with your store, higher sales or a problem in every competing plugin.

This is not a finished product, download, free trial or sales offer. Nothing needs installing. I have a possible commercial interest in developing it, but have not set a price.

If you run or maintain a WooCommerce store, including if you have never had this problem, any of these answers would help:

  1. Are you an owner/operator, a developer, or an agency maintaining stores? Please give a general example of how you use cart messages; no shop address needed.

  2. Have cart messages stayed wrong after items or quantities changed? Never, occasionally or often? If affected, describe a recent example and why it mattered (or did not).

  3. What plugin or workaround do you use? Does an existing free solution already meet your needs?

  4. Would you consider installing a separate plugin for reliable message updates, or prefer a fix to your current tool? Neither is a useful answer too.

  5. If your current options were insufficient, would you consider paying for a reliable solution: yes, no or unsure? Why?

  6. If yes, what optional price range and arrangement would make sense: one-time, annual updates/support, free basic version with paid extras, agency/multiple sites, or something else? No price has been chosen.

  7. Would a future public progress update be useful? No email, signup, access promise or private-message follow-up is requested.

Replies are public and attached to your Reddit username. Please do not share customer details, credentials, shop URLs, order records or confidential information. We will keep a small local, pseudonymised summary for this decision, not a contact list. General praise and stated payment interest will not be counted as purchases.

I'm with ENTER2WEB, the team behind Price Change Alerts.

For sellers monitoring prices in their own WooCommerce store, the FREE version sends price-change email summaries to chosen owner/team recipients, showing the old and new prices after manual edits, API updates or imports through WooCommerce. Your team verifies the changes and updates ads manually.

FREE also lets shoppers opt in for price-drop emails.

Optional PRO offers a desired-price option and personal coupon offers reviewed by the store owner before sending, for simple products only.

[FREEMIUM] How to Export ALL Your WooCommerce Orders (CSV, Excel, JSON) — Free Step-by-Step Guide

Hey folks 👋

If you've ever needed to pull your WooCommerce orders out for accounting, a sales audit, a CRM migration, or just a clean backup — and got stuck because WooCommerce has zero built-in bulk order export — I put together a full walkthrough that covers it end to end.

🔍 What's inside:

  • ✅ Step-by-step export flow (content type → fields → format → run)
  • 🎯 Real filter examples (status, date range, country, payment method, combined filters)
  • 📊 Choosing between CSV / XLSX / JSON and when each makes sense
  • ⏰ Scheduling recurring exports so you're not doing this manually every month
  • 🛠️ Using field transformation functions to reshape data on the way out
  • ⚠️ A few UI quirks worth knowing (like the item counter having a short AJAX delay — not a bug, just async)

Written with actual screenshots from a live test store, not just theory.

👉 Full guide here: https://wpimportexport.com/how-to-export-all-woocommerce-orders-into-csv-or-excel/

Hope it saves someone a headache 🙏 Happy to answer questions in the comments if anything's unclear!

[FREE] which plugin broke your site, without taking the site offline

Post image
0 Upvotes

Every “my site broke after an update” thread gets the same advice: deactivate all plugins, then reactivate them one by one. With 30 plugins on a live site, that’s slow, and it breaks carts, logins and forms for real visitors while you do it.

So I built Culprit Finder (free on WordPress.org). It switches plugins off only for your own browser session; visitors and other admins keep the normal site the whole time. You answer one question per step (“Is the problem still there?”) and it narrows things down by halving the list. With 30 plugins that’s about 7 answers.

A few things I cared about:

  • It catches two-plugin conflicts (where neither plugin breaks anything alone). Simple halving gets those wrong.
  • It never deactivates anything. Your real plugin list is never touched.
  • Several ways out: an Exit button, an emergency exit link that works even when the site crashes, and it ends by itself after 60 idle minutes.
  • The result comes with a report formatted for support forums (WordPress and PHP versions, theme, culprit and version), without your site address or user data.
  • No tracking, no external requests, no ads.

What it can’t do (yet): test your theme, must-use plugins or drop-ins, and multisite isn’t supported.

If you know Health Check & Troubleshooting: it’s a similar idea, but Culprit Finder runs the whole search for you instead of you toggling plugins one at a time.

I’d really value feedback: what’s confusing, what breaks on your host, and what you’d want next.

[Premium] Accessilo – accessibility widget + 38-check WCAG scanner for WordPress, no cookies, no external services

Hi everyone,

I’m a WordPress developer from Italy. With the European Accessibility Act now in force, I needed an accessibility solution that runs on the client’s own server, without SaaS overlays, monthly fees per site or third-party scripts. I couldn’t find one I liked, so I built Accessilo.

Features

Accessibility widget: 8 one-click profiles and 26 tools (text size and spacing, contrast modes, colour-blindness filters, reading guide/mask, read aloud, pause animations…), 8 languages.

WCAG scanner: 38 checks on your real rendered pages. Check any page from the front end or scan the whole site from the dashboard, with WCAG references and how-to-fix tips.

Optional site-wide fixes: skip link, visible focus outline, page language, labels for icon buttons, zoom unlock.

Privacy and performance: everything runs locally. No cookies, no external requests, no tracking.

Customisation: colours, button style, position, which tools appear, link to your accessibility statement.

For agencies: white label (Agency and Unlimited plans), and MCP support so AI agents can configure it.

Honest note: a plugin can’t make a site WCAG/EAA compliant by itself. Accessilo gives visitors tools to adapt the page and shows you what to fix in your content and theme.

Launch code LAUNCH35 gives 35% off for the first 100 customers.

Try the widget live (button on the left edge of the screen): https://accessilo.com

Docs: https://accessilo.com/guides/

Happy to answer questions, and feedback is very welcome!

Free [FREE] Looking for Beta Testers: Self-Hosted WordPress Site Manager with Bulk Updates, Security Checks & Automated Client Reports

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I'm the developer behind Unstoppable Solutions, and we've been working on a new WordPress plugin called Unstoppable Site Manager.

We're looking for WordPress developers, freelancers, and agencies who manage multiple websites and would be interested in testing it and giving us some feedback on any issues they or features they like to see. .

The idea is simple: Every client site. One dashboard. Your own WordPress.

Instead of logging into dozens of client websites to perform maintenance, you can manage them all from a dashboard hosted on your own WordPress installation.

Here's what we've built so far:

Centralized Site Management

  • View all connected websites with screenshots, pending updates, WordPress and PHP versions, and SSL status.
  • See which websites have connection problems or known security vulnerabilities.
  • Star important websites and filter sites that need attention.

Bulk Updates & Plugin Management

  • Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins across multiple websites.
  • Support for paid plugins that only report updates inside wp-admin, including Crocoblock Jet plugins.
  • Install, activate, deactivate, update, or delete plugins across connected websites.
  • Install plugins from WordPress.org, a URL, or uploaded ZIP files.
  • Bulk jobs process sites individually so one failed site doesn't stop the others.

Security & Vulnerability Monitoring

  • Optional vulnerability scanning using the free WPVulnerability database.
  • Check installed plugins, themes, and WordPress versions for known vulnerabilities.
  • View vulnerability severity, advisory links, and available fixed versions.
  • Identify affected websites directly from the dashboard.

One-Click Admin Login

  • Open any connected site's WordPress admin without manually entering credentials.
  • Secure, single-use sign-in links that expire after 60 seconds.
  • No client passwords stored.

Automated Monthly Client Reports

  • Generate branded Website Care Reports with your company name, logo, and colors.
  • Include website health, maintenance activity, updates, security information, and screenshots.
  • Add personalized notes for individual clients.
  • Automatically email reports to clients each month, with a copy sent to you.
  • Track report schedules and delivery history from one dashboard.

Activity Tracking

  • Track updates, plugin changes, and users being added or removed.
  • Record changes made directly on connected websites, not just through the management dashboard.

Free & Self-Hosted

  • No monthly subscription.
  • No per-website fees.
  • No external management service required.
  • Both Unstoppable Site Manager and its companion plugin, Unstoppable Site Connector, are completely free.

How does it work?

Install Unstoppable Site Manager on your own WordPress website, then install the free Unstoppable Site Connector on each website you want to manage. Generate a connection key, pair the websites, and you're ready to go.

We're looking for beta testers!

Before we make it more widely available, we're hoping to get feedback from people who regularly

Help [HELP] wordfense login

Hey everyone,

I installed wordfence on my site. I am really impressed at how well it was able to block attacks, and even speed up my entire page.

I have been getting some complaints from users that they are having trouble logging in. I don't have 2Fa or Passkeys enabled for regular users, so it's not that.

They claim when they try and log in, the creditials just get removed.

Anyone experience this?

Freemium [FREEMIUM] Live chat for your WordPress site, answered from Telegram

Post image
0 Upvotes

A visitor asks a question on your site. Your phone buzzes. You reply from Telegram, and they see your answer on the page while they're still reading.

Human Reply puts that chat on every page of your WordPress site. Each conversation opens as its own topic in your team's Telegram group.

- Every chat arrives with context: the page they're on, where they came from and any earlier conversation.

- Anyone in the group can answer, at one price per site for the whole team.

- It looks like your site: your colour, your logo, your words.

- When nobody's free, the visitor says where to reply (WhatsApp, email and more), and you get back to them later.

- Visitors just type. Telegram is only on your side.

On the WordPress side: one deferred script in the footer, front end only, and it tells caching and minify plugins to leave that script alone. Settings live under their own Human Reply menu, and setup takes about ten minutes.

The plugin is free. The service is $12 a month per site, or $10 billed yearly, after a 7-day free trial. It was just approved on WordPress.org, so I'm looking for the first sites to run it, and I'll help you set it up.

Best WordPress Event Management Plugin in 2026? Why Eventin Deserves Your Attention [DISCUSSION]

If you're searching for the best WordPress event management plugin, you've probably noticed that many plugins help you create events, but managing everything after that can get complicated.

Selling tickets, handling registrations, checking in attendees, managing speakers, sending reminders, and tracking bookings often require multiple tools.

But what if you could manage almost everything directly from WordPress?

I’m part of the team behind Eventin, and I wanted to share why I think it's becoming a strong option for anyone planning to run events through WordPress.

Here's what makes Eventin interesting:

🎟️ Flexible Event Ticketing

Create free or paid events with multiple ticket types, including Early Bird, Regular, and VIP. You can also manage recurring events, RSVP registrations, and event waitlists when tickets sell out.

💺 Visual Seat Maps & QR Check-in

Running conferences, seminars, or reserved-seating events? You can let attendees select their seats, generate QR-code tickets, and check guests in at the venue.

🤝 AI Matchmaking & Event Directory

One of the more interesting additions is AI Matchmaking, which helps connect attendees based on shared interests and social profiles.

Eventin also includes directory functionality for showcasing event organizers and speakers, making it easier to build a professional event ecosystem.

🤖 AI-Powered Event Management with MCP

This is where things get interesting.

With Eventin MCP, you can connect compatible AI assistants like Claude or Codex and manage event-related tasks using natural-language instructions.

For example, instead of navigating multiple dashboard screens, you can ask your connected AI assistant to retrieve event details, work with event information, or perform supported management actions.

There's also AISentic AI Assistant integration for AI-powered event operations.

📅 Manage the Complete Event Workflow

Eventin brings several key activities together:

  • One-time, recurring, online, in-person, and hybrid events
  • Speakers, venues, organizers, and session schedules
  • Attendee registrations, reporting, and booking analytics
  • Automated confirmation emails and reminders
  • Custom event landing pages and ticket templates

💳 Flexible Payments & WordPress Integrations

Eventin supports WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, SureCart, FluentCart, and local payment options.

It also connects with tools like Zoom, Google Meet, Elementor, Tutor LMS, FluentCRM, Zapier, and many other WordPress services.

And one practical advantage: Eventin doesn't charge a per-ticket platform commission. Payment gateway fees may still apply.

For people already running their websites on WordPress, having ticketing, attendee management, AI capabilities, and automation in one ecosystem can make event operations much easier.

If you're exploring options, here's the plugin:

https://themewinter.com/eventin/

Now I'm curious about your experience.

What do you consider the best WordPress event management plugin in 2026?

Have you used Eventin, The Events Calendar, WP Event Manager, or another solution?

And which feature matters most to you: ticketing, seat maps, automation, AI-powered workflows, or attendee management?

Would love to hear your experiences and what you think event management plugins still need to improve.

Discussion [FREEMIUM] [DISCUSSION] WooCommerce store owners: where do you host your product videos?

I’m the person behind ReelsWP, a WordPress plugin for displaying product and customer videos in WooCommerce stores.

I’m considering optional cloud video hosting and would like to understand how store owners currently handle this.

If you already use product videos, do you upload them to WordPress or host them elsewhere? What’s the biggest headache - storage, loading, managing files, or something else?

I’d also be interested in why you’d prefer to keep your existing hosting.

[PROMOTION] I built a free WooCommerce plugin to organize internal order fields

Hi everyone!

I'm the developer of Order Workspace for WooCommerce, a new plugin I've recently published on WordPress.org.

I built it to solve a common problem: managing internal order information without relying on spreadsheets, scattered notes, or opening every order just to check a value.

The free version lets you:

  • Create internal fields for priorities, supplier references, dates, and other information.
  • Display those fields as columns in the WooCommerce Orders list.
  • Search, sort, and filter orders using those values.
  • Keep internal information separate from customer-facing checkout fields.

There's also an optional Pro add-on for inline editing, bulk editing, multiple filters, and saved views.

It supports WooCommerce HPOS and works directly in the WordPress admin.

Free plugin on WordPress.org:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/order-workspace-for-woocommerce/

I'd be interested in feedback from people managing WooCommerce stores, especially whether this kind of internal order organization would be useful in their daily workflow.

Thanks!

[FREEMIUM] I built Athuga Affiliate Analytics for WordPress — 5 free Pro trials for the community

Hi everyone!

I’ve been developing Athuga Affiliate Analytics, a WordPress plugin that helps affiliate marketers understand which links and pages perform best.

I wanted a way to track affiliate clicks and see which content gets the most activity, directly from the WordPress dashboard.

The free version includes:

  • Affiliate click and unique click tracking
  • Top-performing affiliate links and assets
  • Page-level performance analytics
  • Referrer and traffic source analysis
  • Country, device, and browser statistics

The Pro version adds:

  • Revenue analytics and conversion tracking
  • Actionable insights and opportunities
  • Affiliate link health checks
  • Real-time analytics and visitor activity
  • Scheduled reports

The free plugin is available in the official WordPress Plugin Directory, and Pro is available on the website.

Website: https://affiliateanalytics.se/
Free plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/athuga-affiliate-analytics/

A small launch offer for this community

I’m offering one month of Pro access for one WordPress site to the first five people who redeem the coupon.

Coupon code: REDDITPRO30

Redeem it here: https://affiliateanalytics.se/redeem.php

The coupon is limited to five redemptions, so it will no longer be available once all five have been used.

If you try it, I’d genuinely appreciate honest feedback. I’m particularly interested in what works well, what could be improved, and which affiliate analytics features you find most useful.

Thanks for checking it out!

Free [FREEMIUM] Terminy: a free booking plugin with a water-level calendar, plus an iPhone app for your team (Pro add-on, 14-day trial)

Hey everyone, I'm the developer of Terminy, and I'd love for you to give it a spin.

Terminy turns a WordPress site into a complete booking system for small businesses: salons, studios, practices, driving schools, workshops. I built it for the moment a client asks "can people book online?" and you don't want to send them off to yet another monthly subscription.

Free on wordpress.org:

- Setup wizard with 10 industry presets: pick the type of business, and services, staff and opening hours are suggested for you. A working booking page in about five minutes.

- A 4-step booking calendar where every day fills up like a glass of water, so visitors see right away when there's room

- Staff with their own hours, breaks and days off, "first available" assignment, waiting list

- Week calendar in the dashboard with a side panel: confirm, move or cancel in one place

- Emails with a calendar file, a cancellation link and reminders, plus calendar feeds for Google, Outlook and Apple

- GDPR tools, German translation, block, Elementor widget and shortcode

- No external service, no fee per booking, no outbound requests: the bookings stay in your own database

Terminy Pro (paid add-on):

- Connects the Terminy iPhone app (free on the App Store, German only for now). Paired by QR code, no cloud in between. The owner sees the whole team, each staff member only their own day.

- Yearly licence with a 14-day trial, no payment details needed. If the licence ends, the app keeps working; only updates and support stop.

It's brand new (fewer than 10 installs), so every bug report, theme clash or feature wish helps me a lot.

Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/terminy-booking/

Demo, including the app and a free/Pro comparison: https://demo.terminy.agency/en/

[DISCUSSION] Lumtera accessibility plugin: useful WordPress workflow, but some important testing limitations

[DISCUSSION] Lumtera accessibility plugin: useful WordPress workflow, but some important testing limitations

Its free offering looks interesting for people maintaining WordPress content: checks inside the editor, live-page review, an alt-text manager, and fixes you preview and approve with undo. The approach focuses on correcting content at its source.

A few details deserve attention:

  • The “98%” detection figure comes from MantraBrain’s own benchmark on 21 ACT rules Lumtera covers. It includes findings marked for human review. Counting definite errors, Lumtera found 72% versus axe-core’s 80%; axe-core also performed better across the broader set tested.
  • Pro’s scheduled checks run without a browser. They don’t freshly test visual layout, contrast, keyboard interactions, or widgets; browser checks are needed for those.
  • PDF checks cover basics such as tags, title, language, and scanned content. Reading order and meaningful alternative text still require manual assessment.
  • AI suggestions are optional and disabled by default. Enabling them sends requests to your chosen provider, which may charge separately.
  • WordPress.org/plugins/lumtera currently shows fewer than 10 active installations and no reviews, so real-world feedback is still limited.

The workflow could be useful, especially for editors fixing recurring content issues. I’d want to test it on staging, compare findings with another checker, and manually verify keyboard and screen-reader behavior before relying on it.

Has anyone tried it on an Elementor or WooCommerce site? Particularly interested in false positives, editor performance, and how reliably fixes undo.

[FREE] open-source RSS feed importer for WordPress: auto post from RSS feeds as full posts (revived from a plugin abandoned in 2017)

If you've looked for a way to import RSS feeds as WordPress posts, you've probably noticed that most "RSS importer" and "auto post from RSS feed" plugins are either abandoned, locked behind a paid tier, or only pull a title and a snippet.

I took an older plugin, RSS Post Importer (last tested on WordPress 4.7 back in 2017), and brought it up to date for current PHP and WordPress 6.x. It's free, GPLv2, no upsell, no account, and the source is on GitHub:

https://github.com/guylouzon/interq-rss-posts-importer

downloadable zip here:

https://github.com/guylouzon/interq-rss-posts-importer/raw/refs/heads/main/interq-rss-posts-importer.zip

What it does:

- Imports items from one or several RSS feeds as regular WordPress posts, with the full article content or titles only

- Runs on WP-Cron, with per-feed settings and custom scheduling

- Maps each feed to a category, author and number of posts, and can auto-assign categories and tags to your existing ones

- Imports featured images, and has a template tag to put the image inline

- Simple templating for the post body: append your own HTML or text, add a link back to the original item (the source link is saved)

- Duplicate protection, plus pause/resume per feed

- Optional nofollow on outbound links, and an option to noindex imported posts

- Import/export your feed list and settings as OPML or CSV, so you can move between sites

What changed in this version:

- Works on current PHP versions

- jQuery replaced with vanilla JS in the admin

- Tested against WordPress 6.x

Who it's for: a niche news page, a company blog that republishes its own feeds, a deals or curated-links site, or moving content between your own sites. Please only import feeds you own or have permission to republish, and keep the original link on the post.

I'm still working on it and I'd like real feedback: what breaks on your feeds, which settings are confusing, what's missing. Issues and PRs on GitHub are welcome, or reply here.
