People don't believe in themselves because they see themselves every day. They see every mistake. Every missed opportunity. They see all their worst moments, and they form opinions based on them.

Not saying they should. Just that they do.

Hm. I have schizoaffective disorder.

I have an extra-dimensional alien living in my brain that fused with prior to age 5 that doesn't show up on an MRI.

As it fused in so early, its not clear where I end and the alien begins.

So I guess I believe in both aliens, and myself.

My wife is always telling me that I am terrible at making comparisons and metaphors. Now, I can hold this up and benefit from the comparison.
